Ken I was sorry to hear about your bag in Barcelona, hope there wasn't anything too precious. We have always been very careful in Barcelona, but it is so easy to be taken in.

The Magnet list is getting huge!!! How fantastic if everyone turns up for the meet on the first night. Maybe we could arrange another get together on a sea day, for those that are too exhausted, or have children to sit.

I have just been printing out door magnets, I haven't told our daughter. Unfotunately her favourite character Bolt, is white so won't really work, but next best is Simba and that looks good!

Karen, take it easy tomorrow, I see you have a GSD. We have two dogs and it is horrid leaving them, do you put him in kennels?

Love the post on the Exotic Rasul!!! OH was getting excited about the 'couples' massage, don't think I will tell him about this one!!

Only two days left for us, we are going out for dinner on Wednesday evening, so holiday starts there. Just need to do my final packing tomorrow and we are ready to go!!

Thanks for the advice on the DJ's (Tux), I think OH will wear a jacket rather than DJ, but you never know.

"The Exotic Rasul is basically where they take you and your husband to your own private room. This comes equipped with tiled floors, a shower and a plethora of body scrubs, lotions and oils. The other area is a steam room. They spend about 10 minutes telling you about the products, close the door, and leave you alone to do whatever you will do for the other 50. At the 50 minute mark, they knock discreetly and you come out sheepishly whenever you can. Before going in, they stress that the couples LOVE this and that this is YOUR time. So, for us, this was a not so subtle way of saying "go , have sex, with our blessing". With that in mind, we didn't really need the 10 minute diatribe on the different oils but one must keep up appearances. Also, the steam room was a bit treacherous from that perspective. But, all things considered, this was a very lovely experience that couples can use however they see fit. From other readings, I have found that other couples did not take the hint and wore bathing suits, actually tried all the oils and tentatively played in mud. To my mind, all that is fine if you were doing this alone, but there is a reason your mate is there. Enough said.

I thought it was quite amusing that after we came out, the staff who wandered by merely smiled knowingly and avoided eye contact. No one said anything to us and they let us leave at our own pace. Tons of fun, and surprising from Mickey!!"

On another subject, I was looking at Cruise Critic reviews for the recent 11 night Disney Magic Cruise. A review by selenapan9. There was one section that grabbed my attention! I hope I'm allowed to copy and paste?

We had the Exotic Rasul booked but cancelled it because DH wants to decide what treatments we are going to do once we get there. I would lean more towards doing it if the kids were going with us, but we'll be childless for 12 days....if you catch my drift.

yeah he's going into the kennels thursday morning, i hate leaving him, especially a day early as the house is just wayyyyyy too quiet without him. the photo in my avatar is about 5 years old, this is what he looks like now:

Thanks for the cabin number. I have made magnets for everyone on the list except fore Bella81903 who has not posted in forever, not sure if they a sailing with us. I hope to have the magnets at the 10:30PM dis-meet, so if anyone gets an upgrade they can get thier door magnet then. Any not picked up I will try to get on doors the first day at sea (after our morning walk). Alex

i absolutely cant wait til thursday now, we've been sooo busy at work and i've been doing so much overtime this month that i'm just totally burnt out, and in desperate need of a break. only 13 more hours at work to get though then i'm off for a week and a half.....

I can identify with you about work. I have been working 10-12 hour days, six days some weeks, worked Memorial Day, and have Tues, Weds, and Thurs to work. I have not had any vacation time lately because we are staying on for the Baltic cruise and a few days in London so I am taking three weeks of vacation all togeather. Not much left to spread over the rest of the year. Only 30 more hours to work.

Booked this with great travel rate, just two questions, dio they provide towels in the rooms and what currency and types of plugs do they use in the cabin, can't find out what type of converter to bring

I decided that since my Fish Extender looks so lame, I will try and decorate the door instead.

towels are provided in the rooms, and changed daily, and alos provided on the pool deck.
the currency of the ship is dollars, but guest services will change into euros and pounds. the plus sockets are US sockets, and will work on 110v.
you can bring dressing up clothes for your 2 year old if you want, but its not necessary. formal night is on the sunday, and semi formal night is the wednesday (we think).
whereabouts are you travelling from?
