Holiday Fever is setting in I fear you are all going a little mad!

I have been told today, by those that know in the airline industry, that the veto on flights in the last few weeks, was actually an error and that the data on the 'you know what' that was given was incorrect, so flights didn't need to be cancelled.

Not sure exactly how accurate this is, but it may mean that there will be less disruption in future. Keep everything crossed.

Sounds like a bunch of us are going to France first too....is anyone else taking the TrenHotel to BCN? We are flying into Paris on the 31st, spending two days at DLP and taking the train the night of June 2nd, arriving in Barcelona on the 3rd...

Oh....and with two Scotts....I guess I should become E. Scott to avoid confusion...kind of like E Mail, but not...

We arrive in Paris on May 22nd and take the overnight train on May 25th to Barcelona to catch the May 26th Med cruise. We booked 2 grand class cabins - there are 4 of us traveling. I got a good deal by booking on the French train site 90 days out.

I have an "unofficial" logo on the door magnets. I'm not sure how to post it. But everyone who gave thier info for FEs or posted/PMed info will have a door magnet.

I can't believe in 14 days we will be flying into BCN! My daughter arrives next Friday from Alaska to spend 6 weeks with us. Here's hoping we have no issues with the "you know what" disrupting her flight.

I am still working on my FE gifts and am hoping my FE arrives from Ebay soon. I told my hubby he will need to get the suit cases out of storage so we can start packing this weekend.

I am so ready for some warmth & sunshine. The weather here in Germany has been so dreary and cold. Everything is blooming & gorgeous but its been chilly.

Anyone staying at the Novotel City know how close The Hop On Hop Off bus stop is to the hotel? or exactly where its located?

Disneymom7851 will love that...she is neck deep in Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains "Cookies Now" event each year. Thousands of cases of cookies and yet we still end up without Thin Mints each year. It doesn't seem right.

Lynn, who made the logo/symbol for the Baltic cruise? You? A DISer? I would love to have one done for ours. I have a contact in the UK who digitizes for me and I could stitch them out for my FEs.

It was the daughter of one of the folks on the thread, it has been around since the beginning - I cannot remember who it was, if no one claims it, it could have been done by someone who had to drop out. I seem to think that permission was given for anyone who wanted to copy it to use it - but don't quote me on that. We tried to copy it into our door magnets, but could not make it work. Sorry that I cannot be more help.

Severe weather here last night - I had to spend about an hour in the basement because of tornado warnings, had the local news on, several small ones were seen, no damage here in Cheyenne, but some damage to a town East of us. At least this time they did not send Scott home during the warning like they did last time - he came home after threat was lifted.

Jill, thanks so much for arranging this! I am so looking forward to having brunch at Palo's and meeting the group! For those who have never dined in there, the room is just off to the side in the main restaurant. It has a beautiful huge mural on the wall, and the other side is the ocean view. One huge table for all of us and the food is endless. Its nice to eat in a big group because we can sample even more, like those fabulous pizzas!
I feel like I'm late to the party since I just booked on Saturday and leave in 2 days for the Med cruise!
We're all packed, except for our formals (waiting on a few alterations). DH says he will pack Thursday, but I basically have him packed too! He just shows up! And pays the bill! Any other moms cruising without their spouse on this repo cruise? I plan to buy a rainforest package and enjoy the ship amentities (movies, gym, classes, wine tastings, etc)

Hi, Thanks for the info on Palo, will definately try to do this in the future, my clients will appreciate it. I would have loved to add on the cruise after our June 5 with the kids solo, but was hesitant on flying back alone w/ them.

We will be enjoying everything on the ship. I heard there is a new bartender type class, we want to sign up for that. I'll have to hit the gym and walk everyday. These cruises are catching up to me, I must come back the same size! I say that every time, gotta do it this time! As I plan eating and drinking....

If I wasn't travelling half way around the world and didn't have to deal with luggage restrictions, I'd bring you a box.
