Remember the brunch is $15.00 per person, well worth it, and you can only have brunch once. If they do not have 10:30 available I will still try for the same day different hour.

Karen, you obviously had a day off today and have put me to shame!

I tried out something yesterday evening and although they are OK, not really to the standard I would like, but you will still be getting them, just squint your eyes a bit and they look great!!!

Jgura, I sent you a PM, how amazing that the others are already there. Looks like I will get my Palos now if there is room for us. OH was a bit 'ohhh sounds a bit early to me etc. etc.,' Honestly!. It is very kind of you to sort it out, so I hope you can count us in. Poor OH he is so stressed out with the 'you know what', but once we get away, he goes into complete holiday mode!

Sinnika, well done on the upgrade, shame you have to move cabins. We did something similar on another cruise line and they came with a rail to move the clothes in the wardrobe and just took all the drawers out and swapped them with the new room. It was quite painless really.

Told DD there were some other children going and mentioned their names, she was very excited about the 10 year old - she really wants to be 10 at the moment Every day she says 'is it today Mummy, or the day after this day?' Mind you, I am just a little excited too

i wish I've got today off, am actually typing this up on my phone in the work's car park. Just managed to have a fairly productive morning for once! I wasn't really making anything anyway, more like assembling it!
i am still toying with the idea of making a new fish extender, so might do that on Thursday on my only day off this week. (my last day off was last Thursday and next one is this Thursday). I think i work too much!

Good Morning Cruisers!

I have finally caught up, this thread is getting very active as things get closer! Sounds like everyone is getting quite fancy with their FE gifts - ours will be quite simple.

My job is now over, so I am now a "woman of leisure" for the week before we leave! There is so much to do that I do not know how much "leisure" I will really have. As Scott said, we did the majority of our packing last weekend. It feels good to have all the "stuff" from the "packing bed" organized and in suitcases!

Oh, thank you! OK, we are: Taina -DW, Kaitlyn - DD 14, Ben - DS 13. Unfortunately DH is leaving the ship after the med cruise as he has to go back to the office. I was on the phone and computer all of yesterday after our British Airways flight to Paris via London was cancelled due to the strike. We are now on direct flights to Paris from Houston via Air France, then going by overnight train to Barcelona after a few nights in Paris and Normandy. British Airways was kind enough to change my return flights and dates to the US to depart from London for free, that is why I was able to add this cruise! I have to call my TA and pay for my cabin this afternoon. We are doing a GTY 12 (going to be hard leaving our cat 4 from the Med ). As soon as I get my stateroom I will post.
Is this group planning a private Palos brunch? Would love to sign up if there is one. We are not doing FE's as we try not to carry anything other than essentials and need room for souveniers!

We are also traveling in Normandy before getting on the ship (assuming that we can fly to London - and then from London to Paris (on British Air, so we are also watching the strike) - if "that which cannot be named" stops acting up)!

Quick question for you gals - are you wearing hose on formal night? Everyone here keeps telling me hose are out but it doesn't seem right to go bare legged on formal night. What are y'all doing?

Whether or not I wear hose (or stockings or tights) depends upon how cold I am and whether or not I can still fit into my clothes after cruising for a week or more

Now that I am not longer working, I will try to get onto this thread more frequently.

Sounds like a bunch of us are going to France first too....is anyone else taking the TrenHotel to BCN? We are flying into Paris on the 31st, spending two days at DLP and taking the train the night of June 2nd, arriving in Barcelona on the 3rd...
