We are doing the Land and Sea staying at POR before the cruise.

We are also doing the Land/Sea and staying at POFQ. Anyone else doing Land/Sea?

okay I'm late joining this thread too. Hi Jrsy Boy! We live in Littleton. Count us in for 2 adults DS-14, DS-12(turns 13 on cruise), DD-9. This is our first cruise and we're so excited! We are staying at SOG before and after cruise (glad to know they will store our luggage) -Then a few days at Polynesian. We booked Blue Lagoon for Nassua-anyone else?

Did anyone answer the question about taking food off the ship? I hear the lunch a Blue Lagoon is not good.

Hi Timmbco! My DD is also 9. Glad to see another girl her age on board. I thought she was going to be overrun by all the 9 year old boys on board! DD is corresponding with another girl from this thread and loving it. If you're daughter would like to correspond via e-mail also, let me know. We are doing the dolphin encounter with the Blue Lagoon excursion. Can't wait!

I just wanted to make sure everyone in our group saw the threads about pre-registering for Palos, Spa, Flounders, Excursions and Kids Clubs. Check out the DCL webpage and look under "My Cruise". You need your reservation number. I know for a lot of people this will mean no more "ressie rush". Way to go DCL !!

I was very excited to learn about the new information available on the DCL site. I downloaded our documents so we can fill them out tonight.

The kid's & I review our daily countdown every morning! It's getting so close!

So what is everyone planning on doing with the alien green Mickey heads? I thought of trying to maybe make nametag pins. Of course I have to go raid Home Depot again.

I think I've exhausted myself with just doing that list. I humbly withdraw my name from nomination.

I'm going to try putting "Jrsy Boy" on them, laminating two back-to-back, then punching a hole and attaching one to each bag we might be carrying at any given time. If I'm not carrying a bag, I may need to make one especially for sticking on my forehead.

Attaching the name tags to a bag is a great idea. I might fill kinda silly having one pinned to my shirt and I don't think I could coerce my family into wearing one either. I have not been to Home Depot yet, I guess I need to get a move on. LEAVING IN 24 DAYS!!!

Here's a question, though: I was planning to put "Jrsy Boy" on the Mickey heads, but neither DW or DS8 are DISers, so they won't have DIS names to put on them; it will be my name on all of them. Are you planning to put your DIS name on the Mickey's or anywhere else? Mine will also be on our door sign, if I ever get it done.

I will probably just have the dis name on the tags and our stateroom door. I don't actually know if my family will even attach the tag to a bag. We'll see.

I think I am going to put my DIS name on the door sign, and maybe just my name on the green head. I am severly outnumbered here, 3 males and me, and I think I will probably be the only one in my family who will wear it. I was trying to think, if I make it into a pin, one day I could pin it on my bag, one day, maybe the sleeve of my shirt, or better yet, just paint it on my forehead....

I could tint the sunscreen green and paint it on me.

Started a little clothes shopping yesterday, and went to get more green Mickey heads, and they were all out of the 3 closest shades of green. Will have to keep looking I guess.

I hope our documents come soon. I tried to download them from the dcl website but they did not print clearly, so I will just have to wait. We did some cruise shopping over the weekend. Anticipation is running high at my house.
