:wave2: I will join you !!! we leave when you do!!!

 :bounce: :jumping1: :dancer: :thewave:

cant wait, cant wait!!

Crusin dragons,
We are driving ourselves, so the only thing I can think is for you to contact SOG and see if they offer transportation to MOC. If not I know you may be able to add on a one way transfer from DCL to the airport. Not too sure where they would pick you up though.

I am so excited....we put in ressies for the teen junkaroo jam, but that has been cancelled due to our leaving port early. But he did get in the Wild side on CC. Not too sure if DS wants to do the teen powerboat tour or not.

I did pick up some Mickey head paint chips to decorate our door with. Anyone have any ideas on a DIS get together? :grouphug:

Of course between the cruise, some of us staying at the Radisoon before, and SOG after, we are going to be bumping into each other all the time!!!

DD (7) did not want to get out of bed and go to school today. Reminded her the day after school is out we leave for the cruise. She hopped right out of bed. :earsgirl:

We went shopping this weekend and found the sealed swim boxes to keep your card and money in at Meijers fro $1.99(several different colors) in the pool supplies.

Gotta go, shopping awaits:
Girls scrapbook weekend in 5 days
Vegas in a month
Cruise in < 2 months
AHHHHHHHHH!
What a stressful life :rotfl2:

Time is ticking.... :hourglass
The excitement is building here, and I have begun my lists....LOL

I have heard Target has some lime green luggage tags and other stuff at their stores. I will have to go and check it out.

SO is everyone else getting excited? I am so excited I convinced DH to add another day on to our SOG stay after the cruise. LOL
According to the schedule, the Friday after the cruise is suppose to be a early open day at the MK for all resort guests, including SOG!! YEAH!!!!!! :cheer2:

We too are getting really excited. I picked up the green luggage tags at Target and our lime green mickey head at home depot. I was a little concerned about my passport since I applied so late but it came back in 11 days(wow).

I have a basket sitting in my guestroom that I keep adding in little odds and ends to as I see them in the store. Next week I'm going to order a basket from Shirley for the kids.

Sorry Bethipooh about your son not getting to go on his teen excursion. I'm sure he's disapported since he had so much fun last time. I hope it all works out.

Can't wait to meet you all. Have we decided on a time or place?

:cool1:

Hi all,

Can't believe we're getting so close! I'm at the point that I'm paralyzed with 'there's so much to do but where to start'... I do have to say that it's a great problem to have :cool1:

Have we had any new cruisers? DD (9) is still hoping to correspond with another girl around her age before the cruise but it seems like everyone here has boys :confused3

AS for a dismeet, we're in. Since we're first time cruisers, I have no idea when, where, how it would work best. Hopefully a veteran cruiser can help throw some ideas out there ;)

Bettipooh,

Where did you hear that we're leaving port early and which port is it, Nassau or Castaway Cay?

Thanks!

Sharon

PS - Like everyone else, we're getting really excited!

I was told via email(from DCL excursions when we booked) that we leave Nassau early, approx 7:30 and that is why the teen junkaroo jam was cancelled.
I watched the Wonder sail away today, and kept thinking, a few more weeks...LOL

Have no clue what to suggest for a DIS meet.

Okay, I'm a little late in joining this thread, but count in 3 more for this trip - me, DW & DS8. We're coming in from Denver International, staying at POFQ for the "Land" portion and in Stateroom 2601 for the "Sea" portion.

We have our "Alien Green" Mickey heads ::MickeyMo and I was thinking of laminating them with my DIS name on them and attaching them to whatever we will be carrying on any particular day (backpack, beach bag, etc).

Anyone keeping count of how many DISers have responded to this thread?

Hello to everyone,

It is hard to believe we are getting closer and closer. We booked this so far out, I didn't think we would ever be counting days instead of months. My 8 year old (almost 9) ds is hesitant to try the lab. I have printed out Navigators and he is interested in some of the activities. I have read here that there are several ds his age. I would like for him to make contact with a few others his age before the trip. Would anyone else's ds like to chat with him? :earsboy:

Looking forward to hearing from someone.

:wave2: My family will be cruising on 06/05/05 also. We are DD(12) DS (9), DH, and me. I have the Resort on Cocoa Beach reserved for 6/4 - the night before the cruise. I also reserved the Ardastra Gardens and City Tour for Nassau and haven't decided if we want to do the Banana Boat ride, the EcoTour, or parasailing on CC. We may just wing it when we get there since there are so many different boats, floats, and snorkel gear to rent. Anyone else staying at Resort on Cocoa Beach?

CruisinDragons,

My ds will be turning 9 a few weeks before the cruise and would love to chat with your son. His name is A.J. and we live in Cincinnati, OH. This will be our first cruise. My ds-6 and dd-3 will be in the younger kid's club, so it would be neat if AJ could "meet" a few kids before going to the club.

I think we've had at least a dozen DISers on this thread.

Sharon

:wave2: okay I'm late joining this thread too. Hi Jrsy Boy! We live in Littleton. Count us in for 2 adults DS-14, DS-12(turns 13 on cruise), DD-9. This is our first cruise and we're so excited! We are staying at SOG before and after cruise (glad to know they will store our luggage) -Then a few days at Polynesian. We booked Blue Lagoon for Nassua-anyone else?

Did anyone answer the question about taking food off the ship? I hear the lunch a Blue Lagoon is not good.

CruisinDragons,
My DS Will is 8 (9 in August) and I am sure he would like to chat. He likes Legos, Star Wars, and Game Cube/Game Boy. He plays baseball, soccer, and tennis (not all in the same season!) and has also taken Fencing and Tae Kwon Do. He is a Cub Scout. He has a big brother and two pesty little sisters. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc There, that should give them something to start with!

ladytampa,
We are staying at the Resort on Cocoa Beach after the cruise. I hope it is as nice as the write-ups I have seen. The night before our cruise we are staying at the Radisson at the Port, which also looks very nice.

We are all so excited and these last few weeks are taking forever! We all watched the Travel Channel show on the Disney Cruise again for about the 6th time. I think I am the most excited of everyone because I have done all of the planning so I know how great it is going to be!

Hi everyone...

Wow its MAY!!!! Time seems to be flying suddenly. Hard to believe my family has something planned every weekend till the cruise.

Ok recap time for us, I am Beth, we are from NC. Traveling with DH (Rick ) and 2 DS Stephen (15) and Michael (8).
We are staying at the Radisson the night before and at SOG for 4 days after the cruise. Have no excursions planned except The Teen wildside for DS. I usually plan down to the second, but have decided as far as excursions go to just lay back and see what we feel like doing. I think DS(8) wants to go to the pirate museum in Nassau, and the DH and I have spa ressies for that afternoon and Palo on Nassau night. Trying to keep the cruise inexpensive as possible, have another one booked for July 2006.

Have the green Mickey heads, think I may make luggage tags with them, and for our door have red white and blue ones(DH is Air Force). I have never been to or planned a DIS meet, but it seems like our group is growing.

So, does anyone have any ideas for the meet? Does everyone want to try to have a DIS meet? I guess we should get a head count.
So I will start...
Cabin 7022....The Marshall's party of 4...lol (DIS name Bethipooh4)

I think a DIS meet would be fun. Recap: Me (Lynne), DH (Bob), DS (Nathan-11), DS (Will-8), DDs (twins Mary and Rebecca-3) for a total of six!
Cabins 2594 and 2596 (connectors)
:love2: pirate: pirate: princess: princess:

We're up for a DIS meet too!

Recap -

We're the Kowal's from Cincinnati, OH. This is our first cruise ever. We're staying at the Radisson the night before and the Contemporary after the cruise.

We're a family of 5 - me and husband Tad, son A.J. who will be 9 in a few weeks, son Alex who will be 7 in a few weeks and daughter Megan who is 3 and 1/2.

Sharon

Looks like a few of us all have boys the same age...I know Michael will be happy.

Just wanted to share my latest find with you all, at Circuit City, the have disposable cameras in Mickey, Pooh and Princesses. They are 5.99. I picked up 2 for ds.

If you don't have one near you(like me) they also have them online.

Hi All!

I looked through the other boards and read where others have had their first meeting. The few suggestions I read were Deck 10 mid ship same side as the dock at 3pm. That gives everyone time to board, get settled, and meet before the safety drill. The other suggestion was meeting in the secret deck 7 aft 1 hour before sail away. So what does everyone think?

To recap: We are the Pedroza's- Me (Angela) and DD (Gabriela-9) from Columbus, OH. We are doing the Land and Sea staying at POR before the cruise. Glad to see we have some new names to add to the group.

We're getting excited and can't believe we're a month away from the fun in the sun :sunny:
