Happy Mother's Day to all the moms. princess:

No docs yet for us. I'm sure they'll be here soon.

Baloo10, No reservations needed for the character breakfast. It's the morning after your first AP dinner (last I heard), and you just go at the designated time.

I'm so excited about this trip, I can't sit still much less sleep. :) We are also coming from Dallas, but we'll be flying in on Friday, spending Friday night at the Radisson, and spending 2 days at Magic Kingdom after the cruise before flying back on Monday. I'm nervous about how the boys will do at MK with just me for supervision, but I think we'll be ok.

Only 19 days now...

I just recieved my cruise documents and I'm getting excited! party: My wife and I have our own cabin and DS (8) is staying with my mother in a Category 7. I reserved category 9 because we have a week at WDW after the cruise but I've found a little extra money and I'm thinking a cabin upgrade if available. I guess I'll wait and ask when I get to the port. Any thoughts?

Izza,

The first time I took my daughters by myself they were 4 & 7. We had no problems. I can only think of maybe 2 rides we did not get to ride because my 4 year old did not want to go. The one think I won't do is make her ride something that will end up scaring her. Now they are 8 & 11 and they will both ride almost everything. I think you will be amazed at how easy it will be.

:woohoo:

Cat 9 is not bad and not much difference than a 7. I would stay where I was and spend my money on something else for you and your wife.

Izza - Thanks - I hope you had a nice Mother's day too!

Imok - My daughter is 12. Maybe your 11 yr old and her can meet and get acquainted. We are also staying at the Radisson Friday night. Are you riding the shuttle over to the port or getting there another way? We have a rental and we have our names in on the shuttle - just not sure what we're going to do yet.

We received our cruise documents yesterday. Has everybody started packing? I did - too many things laying around that I wanted to take and was afraid I would forget. It'll be here before we know it!

Tammy

Imok - Sorry I got you mixed up with Izza concerning the Radisson unless you are staying there too.

Izza - I am undecided on how to get to the port as far as using our rental or Radisson's shuttle. Have you done either?

I think I'll probably take the rental back to Budget with kids in tow on Saturday morning and get a shuttle to the port from there. I can't imagine the boys walking back to the Radisson without complaining. :) They can walk all day long at Disney or Six Flags, but without rides it's just work.

Thanks. I feel better now. I think I've been nervous because of our Disneyland trip last year. My brother lives in LA, so he was there to help. If he hadn't been there, my 6 (then 5) year old wouldn't have been able to ride anything "exciting" because the then-3-yr-old was too short for so many rides. I forget how much they've grown in the last year. My "baby" is so much bigger than he was last summer.

Izza... have you gotten your docs yet? We haven't. I called our TA yesterday and she checked on them. DCL said they were due to arrive today or tomorrow.. but nothing so far.

We leave for the first leg of our vacation in just over a week and I feel like things are getting down to the wire. I would feel much better if I had those docs in my hand.

Jen,

Our docs came yesterday afternoon as well. :) :cool1:

My passport came yesterday too (although I still have to go pick it up at the post office), so I think I finally have everything I need.

:yay: picked up our docs at my TA today!!! :cool1: Its been raining for 5 days here. The cruise is the only thing keeping our spirits up :Pinkbounc

Love2Cruise, How are you guys doing with all the flooding? I've seen some pictures and the news. Some areas look pretty scary. How is your area holding up?

So excited. We fly out in 15 days...

No flooding here thank goodness, but it is wet, drippy, and miserable. Everyone is getting cranky :sad2: The flooding is in new england. We live in western PA. We are counting the days till the cruise. Has anyone else had difficulty with online check-in? I can't get through the first passenger info screen! It keeps telling me that there are too many people in my party, but each of our rooms only lists 3 people?

Today was the last day of school for me. It was a  and a :( day for me.

Regardless of how much they can make me nutty during the school year.. those precious 3 and 4 yr olds have a way of crawling into my heart and taking hold. I am gonna miss the lil boogers. :(

DS doesn't get out of school till May 26, which is good for me. That means I will only have 1 week that I will need to keep him busy and entertained before we go on vacation. :)

Only 2 more weeks to go! :cool1:

Love2Cruise, Glad you don't have flooding. I haven't had any trouble retrieving my reservation online. You might want to call DCL.

DVC Jen, my one 4 year old drives me batty at times. I can't imagine how you handle a classroom full of them. They do have a way of making up for it with the unconditional love at that age.

My oldest gets out of school on the 25th. Both boys are in daycare, so I only have to keep them distracted at night. Three of the next 14 days, they'll be with their dad, so that helps a little too.

I have one more week of school with the kids and then I go back for the two days the following week. Things will be really busy leading up to the cruise. I'm going to start packing next weekend after my grad school class on Saturday. We are all geting excited around here- the kids are dancing, hubby is getting the electronics ready and I've been shopping. I only have to buy a couple of pairs of shoes still.
Just think, in two weeks we will be waking up on the Magic sailing to Key West! We have a very special surprise planned for Key West, so I'm looking forward to Sunday the most right now!
Please send pixie dust, as DD goes tomorrow to get her foot x-rayed and the cast removed. I just hope it has healed so that we do not have to have a second cast.

S :)
