June 29, 2008 - Magic - West Coast!!!!

Speaking of dancing...... The three granddaughters have their dance recital this weekend. Sienna will be in one number (this is her 2nd year), Andraya will be in one number and will be getting her 5 year trophy and Kasey is on the Jr. Jazz team as well as her normal class and will be in 5 numbers. Papa missed the last recital so he has to go to this one. I'm going to try out my new camcorder I bought for this cruise. It is a camcorder that can be used underwater (no deeper than 5'). It will be fun in the pools and at the Dolphin Encounter.

Film at 11:00........................

No Julie, I haven't met your uncle. I'm sure I would remember him if I did. (Sounds like a description of Bill Walton - hate that guy......). Also, my sincerest apologies for using the F word. I should have known better - not more phricken F words for me!

This is getting harder and harder everyday. We've got excursions planned - two really cool ones and Mary and I made a pact to keep them a secret until we're in the taxi on the way to them. I AM TERRIBLE AT KEEPING SECRETS! I wanna tell them SO BAD!! I'm finding all kinds of reasons (in my mind) of why I SHOULD tell them ahead of time. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!

Gotta change the subject...... Do they sell booze by the bottle on DCL for consumption in your stateroom? I know the price would be outrageous, but I won't be drinking much on this trip because it's for the kids (the trip - not the booze). If they don't I'll get the limo driver to stop on the way to the hotel.

Hi Mike,
I bring my own beverages (wine) on board as carry-on in a rolling cooler!!

I bring my glass of wine w/me to the table at dinner. No problem. Last cruise I brougt my glass of wine to deck 4 and sipped while kicked back on a deck chair!!

My DGS is older than your DGC (he's 13) - but I'm not telling him about the excursions I've already booked!! It's hard to keep it secret - but I'm looking forward to seeing his face when we get there ( dolphin swim in Cabo & Zip-line in PV)

Please DO NOT film my thighs underwater!!!!!! It will make me laugh. But hey....If you do....we can show it at the talent show, and probably win:thumbsup2

We usually fly to our port of embarkation one day early and buy our booze to put in our check-in luggage. If we buy it at home the bags get too heavy for the flight. Airlines are really wigging out on the baggage weight issue now. We usually wrap in buble wrap and put in our clothes and haven't lost a bottle yet - either coming or going (duty free stuff, you know).

Nothing of mine needs to be filmed underwater....It would be like 'Jaws' where the mad rush of swimmers run wildly out of the water....:lmao: :lmao:

You know..... after I have whatever is in that "special backpack" I will squash that Britt like a bug!!! Do you hear me Britt???? THE GREAT OZ HAS SPOKEN!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: DANCE OFF IS ON BABY!!!!!

The 'special backpack' is like the cave of wonders....it's mysterious but full of valuable treasures....:smokin: Or not...:lmao: :lmao:

I'm so spoiled....that's why I LOVE California. We pretty much just drive everywhere....camping, DL, the coast....I absolutely love it. We've often thought of moving to another state...Colorado or Montana....but I would really miss it here ::yes::

I'm absolutely the worst at keeping secrets....we were going to surprise the kids with going to DL before the cruise, but guess who opened her big mouth??? :bitelip:

Funny thing though....I know I talk a lot about the Lava Flow....and they are good, but I'm not one to be able to dring the 'hard stuff'. Beer or wine, absolutely :thumbsup2 Anything else just does NOT agree with me
