I have been reading the May 25th meet link. They are back, and they're talking....

I wonder if people will read our thread... Maybe we should 'spice' things up a bit. Anyway, I read that link. Sounds like we're in for a good time. I'm just happy we get to spend the 4th on the ship. Even if Disney doesn't do anything, it'll still be exciting...

Has anyone posted the Navigators? I was a little disappointed after reading some of those post trip reports. I think I will not take it so literally. Everyone is so different. Was it just me??? Im calling the cops::cop: ::cop: ::cop:

On my first (and only other cruise on DCL) we missed CC because of engine issues. It wasn't DCL's fault, stuff happens and we went on our way back home after an extra 9 hours in St. Thomas.

Well you would have though that DCL killed your kitten. There were people crying and yelling. There was a all ship meeting with the captain, you thought it was the Democratic Rules Committee meeting...

I wanted to go to CC, everyone did, but stuff happens and the only trip that really matters to you is yours! If you are expecting perfection (and from what I read of the people here, you are all pretty level-headed people), you won't get it!

Stop looking for what could be wrong, and enjoy all that is right!

On another note, we will have Navigators after this week. My sister confirmed her friend is bringing them back for me. I will get them scanned and in PDF form ASAP.

People were crying and yelling? OMG...what is wrong with people? Seems a little extreme, I mean I've never been to CC, and I would understand being upset, but no need to throw a tantrum just because the ship didn't stop at CC. Those were probably the same people demanding free cruises for life after that But I would have to agree on this point...Some people have certain expectations (not just from DCL but life in general) and when those expectations aren't met, they complain and want the world to know about it. As nice as it is to read other people's experiences, it's also a must that it's kept into perspective. That's what's great about those trip reports...you can read up and get the most info you can to prepare you, but then walk away with an open mind. There's some fun-lovin' people on this thread I can just tell by chatting with them...it will definitely be a trip to remember!!

I think you make the cruise what you want it to be. One time we went to CC and it was raining and really cold. They still had the barbeque at CC if you wanted to eat on CC. But, they also had it on the ship. They tried to make everyone happy. We ate on CC with blankets wrapped around us. It was really funny. We still had fun. The next time we went to CC we laughed about how cold it was last time and this time it is just perfect. We have always tried to make the best of every situation. I am just thankful I have two healthy sons and a wonderful husband and mother to share this cruise with this year. I am counting the days. I am so excited. It is goling to be so much fun. I can hardly wait.
