My Sister's friend leaves today on her Magic cruise. She has strict instructions to fax me the Navigators as soon as she gets back.

My Mom asked if I had shoped for my Pirate outfit yet. Which is a strange question for your Mom to ask you. I don't know how dressed up we will get. The party is on the same night as our Anniversary.

I have a week in NoCal, and a week in SoCal for business before we leave. I know of a costume shop in SoCal (on 57?) that I might try for the costume. I have matching Tux vests and ties for me and my DS for formal night.

No, my Mom hasn't done a DCL, but has on others. My Sister (and her son) lives with my Mom now, and she was invited to go on the cruise today with her friend but couldn't come up with the cash. So she hears about everything from her friend, including the Pirate party.

In NoCal, I will start in Oakland, then SF, Novato, Napa, Sonoma, Lakeside, Clearlake, Colusa, down to Sacramento and then back to Oakland.

That's my neck of the woods. Napa/Sonoma are my absolute favorite...don't know if you drink wine or not, but you should pick up a few bottles to take home. yum, yum!!

I agree, it is a wonderful day in northern California. I just got back from the fabric store. I am now going to continue with my sewing. I need to finish sewing the Pirate shrts. I also got the fabric for the fish extender. I need to get those finished today. I have a lot of different projects golng at the same time. But, at least I do not get bored. So, I am off to sewing. My friend got on the ship today. I am so excited for her and her family.

I'm jealous of anyone that can sew. My Mom is quite the seamstress, and has tried on numerous occasions to teach me....but, unfortunately I just can't get it. Maybe someday...Anyway, you'll have to let us know how your friend liked the cruise. Can't wait to hear

We've been great! I'm trying to get a little done each day...that way I'm not too overwhelmed down the stretch. But I just know myself and figure I'll be completely stressed out near the end of the month anyway....go figure!

Hey Mz Sophia....I wish I knew what happened to Tom. He was cool. I haven't heard from him since just after we booked a year and a half ago. After that amount of time though, things change and they may have had to cancel. And yes...if the fish extender is a stress, definitely skip it. Maybe when we do another cruise, I may join in because it does sound fun. But for this one, I'm just going to pass on it

I went to the store, and got a few things for the cruise. I am starting to put everything in a pile. I need to keep a box next time I go to Costco, and just put everything in there... I made a list for Rick. He is in charge of the camera, the binoculars, just a few things...that way I don't have to do EVERYTHING. Good job girls in getting your bods bikini ready I plan on living in mine for the entire week(its not a bikini)

No, I do not do bikinis...a bikini on me would scare the entire population of our ship over the edge. Although, at least I'd get a lounge by the pool Patrick does not understand when I give him a list of things to do...you see he's so used to me doing it all, he thinks I'm kidding when I hand him a list. I put him in charge ONCE...all he had to do was put our suitcase in the trunk of the car. Guess what happened...we got to the cabin WITHOUT the suitcase.

We lived down in Woodland Hills for a short time when we first got married. I'm a country bumpkin...born and raised on a ranch. Talk about a shock to the system! But I've heard Huntington Beach is really cool. Nobody's really made a definitive plan for a meet...not sure what's happening that way. Hopefully as it gets closer, we can decide for sure
