June 29, 2008 - Magic - West Coast!!!!

We are on deck 2. So you will see our decorated door. My mom and sons are on deck 6. I am also decorating their door. So it should be fun. My good friend is getting on the ship in the morning. She is so excited.

I understand the "date" thing. :rotfl:

Actually, my Andy is not an Andrew. He is Anderson. Which most people don't know unless I am trying to get his attention. Andy will be 6 on the first day of the cruise.

:rotfl2: That's cute. You probably don't have to call him his full name much though, right? ;) At 6 they still listen and want to be with mom and dad. Unlike my older two...UGH...preteens. Can I have another shot of tequila?? :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think we'll wander around the ship and see the decorated doors. Kind of like during Christmas...driving around to see all of the Christmas lights. Very cool! :thumbsup2

I just made my door decoration today. It turned out really cute. I am so excited!!!!!

I just don't know what I would do for door decorations. My problem is, i don't have a color ink jet printer, just a color laser jet, so I can't (as far as I know) run the magnet sheets through the printer.

First of all, you guys need to know that making things is not my bag, but that being said.....I went to the craft store and bought a foam piece of paper thing. It is about 9''x11''. Then I bought little puffy letters, and spelled out "Happy Anniversary" I glued the little schedule that Mickey Teacher got for us, and also bought sparkly pirate sculls. I am very happy with it. OH...I also bought a package of magnet strips that stuck on the back of the whole thing.:stir:

How...totally...cool!!! Whether you're crafty or not, that sounds very awesome! :thumbsup2 Maybe I'll try...

I think it is really fun to decorate the door. I decorate the inside of my stateroom so my little boy thinks he is extra special. I put notes in the room that are left from Mickey. Ok, I go a little overboard. But, it is so much fun to see my son so happy.
I also go to HomeDepot and get the paint samples that look like Mickey Mouse. I cut off the back and use them on my door.

I totally relate and you do not go overboard. I remember when my oldest son lost a tooth in Disneyland. I went to a CM and asked her to write a note to him as though she were Tinkerbell (he'd notice my handwriting) and let him know that the toothfairy allowed her to take the teeth in DL. So 'Tink' gave him an extra special prize for his tooth. You are only making 'magic' for him and I applaud that!! I understand completely ;)

Good morning everyone,
I was reading the June 1st cruisers site, trying to gleen some information about our cruise. If anyone hears anything about anything, lets hear about it!!!! I am hoping that the cruisers that are getting off, will share tons of info. I can't wait!!! I'll just sit here and smoke while I'm waiting:smokin: hehehehe

Not to brag...but it is an absolutely GORGEOUS morning here in NorCal. Wow....sat outside and drank my coffee and planned my day. I decided to just do NOTHING  I'm sure that'll last all of 1/2 hour :rotfl: Anyway, June 1st is here and you all know what that means!!! We're inchin' closer to that Sail Away Party :yay:
