I can't wait!!!! Part of me is in no hurry for it to get here, because I don't want it to be over with. I love the excitement of it all. The planning, the posts, everything is so much fun.

Yup, I agree I'm not sure what I'll do...but we've planned another trip down in September to do DL a little longer. I usually have to do that...have another vacation to look forward to so I'm not totally bummed out when we get home. Then the planning starts all over again

We, (the 4 of us) are going on the Land and Sea in November 2009. So you are right.....I will have something to plan all over again!!!!! Have a fun weekend.

We are also planning our next cruise in Dec 08. Another couple will be joining us in Dec. It's their first cruise an I convince them to do it on DCL. They want me to do all the planning because I'm the expert on DCL.
I can see our cruise coming up very fast. Got to make magnets for our door. Got make our door stand out.

Just gor DS's Tux in the mail (eBay, $13 includes shipping), and have to get measured for mine. DW and DS are in MN visiting family and he has surgery before they come back. THEN the real count down starts.

OMG...surgery? Poor guy...hopefully it's not too serious and he has a speedy recovery!

Rick and I are off to a party, and I put on my Mexican dress, and lots of turquoise. It has put me in the cruise mode. I think I will keep this outfit on for the next 5 weeks. OLE'

HI - I"ve yet to introduce myself - I'm bringing my 13 yo grandson on this crusie.

He's trying to be very "cool" about it - but it's obviious he's excited and he mentioned that he should now "probably" wear a tux for formal nite!! Could you share the ebay info - I think it'll be less expensive to buy a used one on ebay than to rent on!! TIA

Now that school is out I can begin my packing for the cruise. I try to get everything together a couple of weeks before the cruise and then check what else I need to still get. Do we have a roster of all the disboard members on this cruise?

IMO, you would be better off renting the tux for formal night. I just got a ring bearers tux (searched for boys tux size 5) and there were the selections. At your grandson's age, though, there are going to be many more size issues. The one I got for my son has elastic waist bands on hte pants and vest.

Thanks for the list MICKEY. When and Where are we going to get together. I think it would be fun to meet Sunday night at one of the clubs. Oh... your children will want to meet each other. Maybe two meetings. One for families with kids during the day.... and if you miss that one, then 10:30 at the club.

Hi guys...I have been reading the other cruise meets. Really all the weeks before our cruise. I have found some fun stuff. The people leaving in 2 weeks are going to meet on deck 10 port side right after the fire drill. Port is water side. That sounded pretty good. What do you guys think?
