Welcome!! How cool is that to have DCL as your honeymoon destination!

I was wondering the same thing about the 4th. When I get a chance I will see if i can find a trip report and see what might have been done on past cruises.

They did not do multiple fireworks when we were on the ship in 2012. I thought they may schedule pirates night for 4th just to have them coincide, but they didn't do that either. Cruise was awesome anyway!

Welcome! You are gonna love it! Will Dara be 13 at time of the cruise or will she be 14? My daughter, Alexa, will be 14 and I know there will be 2 other 14 year olds on the cruise.

Hello! We are travelling with other families as well, but none of the children are similar age to my oldest daughter. She will be 12 when we cruise, but she is a very "mature" 12 (people think she is 14 and, at present time, she is only 11!) Perhaps the girls can get in touch prior to the cruise to see how they "gel"?? PM if interested!! (Also travelling with DH and DD(9)).

I also checked the Google doc and wanted to update my info. My daughter will be 7 and my son will be 3 when we sail. She loves princesses and he loves Mickey and Cars.

We are a family of four heading on the Fantasy on June 28, 2014. So excited!!!

My DH wants to put some feelers out there to any other gentlemen who may be interested in meeting at one of the bars or sports clubs on the ship for a poker game.

Not sure if this thread is allowed, but I wanted to try on DH's behalf. Since there is no gambling allowed on the ship, it would simply involve chips at the table (provided by my DH) and everyone would honor the chips afterward in private. Don't want to break any laws here!

So, I would love thoughts on this, and who would be interested. Thanks!

FEs are a pocket organizer that you make or buy and hang from the hook outside your cabin door. People organize groups like this who do a Secret Santa type exchange. Everyone interested exchanges info (who is in cabin, likes, allergies, etc) and then buys or makes gifts to exchange during the cruise. You can search and find threads in the main thread to get ideas for gifts.

You should give and receive to every cabin on the list. It's everyone's personal preference if they do one gift per person or one per cabin. It depends on what you decide to do as a gift. Does that help?
