hi everyone.....i m finding my feet here.....booked on 27/6 med DH 43 DW42 DD17 and DS 15...we live in Malta--tiny island in the med so we're playing home here....might be familiar to some of the UK members. my kids would love to get to know some of the teens on this cruise..have tight flight arr barcelona at 5.00pm..anyone know if its a long way from cruise terminal?

Hey we leave in 18 days as well but we are flying into Paris then Paris to Barcelona on the 25th, when are you going to be back in Barcelona? Its funny my DS is 14 & my DD is 12 almost reversed.

We plan on leaving Aix en Provance(sp?) on the morning of the 27th. It is about a five hour drive back to the Port in Barcelona. Drop the car off at Avis at the port and hope to be on board by 2:00.

Yes, actually when we are docked in Marseilles(sp) there is an excursion to Aix. We have a client/friend that we sold property to here in Naples, FL. She is from the Aix area and has a rental property that she rents out to tourists by the week or month throughout the year. I help her with the Naples rentals at no charge and she offered to let us come to France any time we wanted. So, it was ironic when DCL announced the Med itinerary because we had just applied for our passports for a trip to France.

We will spend a week at her place and visit areas other than Marseilles of course which we will see when we are on the cruise.

I have to say seeing that you're from Malta that they have some of the absolute BEST wine I've ever had. My husband was in Malta not too long ago and brought back some cherry wine from some family run bar. It was their own house wine but it was SO GOOD!

Since we such a handy group with tons of information, I have an interesting situation I wonder if someone has an answer for:

We're arriving at 8:30 a.m. and the apartment we're staying in isn't available until 4:00 p.m. I have NO idea what to do or where to store our luggage while we wait to get into the apartment. Any ideas?

Ok, I have been glued to the May 26th trip report thread and just can't get enough!! Love the blogs and the podcast is super. The internet on board is really hampering the flow of info it seems. Very slow speed is eating up peoples mineuts. I hope it improves as we get closer to our cruise.

If we do the online registration (which is easy) and print out the few forms they indicate, what documents do we need to get in the mail?

I talked to my TA yesterday supposedly DCL was printing Docs on Tuesday so they should be sent out this week!

Nope I am bringing cash mostly Euros I have so many non Disney excursions planned & they all want cash!

Not to worry I have my Rick Steves hidden wallet!

Already did online registration with DCL and airline! DCL says that if you do it online you dont really need documents, but I would like my hotel vouchers or something!

Did anyone ever get a DVD I didnt!
