We are booked as of yesterday and counting down to the airline ticket purchase in a couple of months!

Any hotel sugesstions come up yet? With 26 pages of posts I think I will just ask instead of reading

Glad you found the site watch out for Cheri she's a waskily webmaster.
I sent her some pics she didnt like them next thing you know I look like Elmer Fudd (HUHHHHHHUUUUUUU)
Had to threaten her with Bannishment from The Slacker Suree, know I look like Robert Redford ? It is really confusing!

And then there is BBM (Has a feddish for funny wigs & strange clothing)
Golfinwidow (Watch out she's from Newton MA)
Honu13 (Hide the sterno) and do not forget TDC NALA (still coming down from that battery acid she took in the 70's)

As you can tell we are just to much fun!

I just emailed you our info for the cruise... I am a little computer challenged so I will send a pic as soon as I can figure it out or when DH returns!

I am still trying to figure out how to get the countdown thingy at the bottom!

To reply to the airfare question, we too are planning on doing LA to London and then onto Barcelona from there. We are looking at Virgin Air (it's like business class at coach prices with spacious seats and great service). I am not sure if we will stay in London... we were there last year, had a great time but purse stolen on Underground and had to spend four extra days awaiting American Embassy, etc. so I think we saw way more than we anticipated! So... probably skip that part... but anywhere around Kensington is nice. Can take the Heathrow Express from Paddington to the airport in 20 minutes for about $20.

Barcelona... I've never been so we plan on staying there a few days prior ... like many people have said... has anyone booked anything... the hotel at the harbour (can't remember the name) sounds fabulous. Does anyone know if that is within walking distance of the cruise port? Maybe not with the luggage we will all have!

We have been practicing slacker slurpees... in fact most of my drinks these days I'm calling that. We went to a hotel recently and had some yummy drinks that could qualify. My DH had one that involved Kalua and ice cream! Not my style but the sip I had was scrumptious... My choices are a more fruit based refreshing one that we can continue to sip all day long!

Enjoy until we talk again... it is so fun to be in the less than one year countdown!

I grew up in Norton then moved around that area to N. Attleboro then finally Plainville. Worked in Foxboro for quite a while with a quick stint in Michagan!

Now a Floridian and love it!

the pretty mostly-round hotel at the port is mucho-euros! The Hilton down the street was much less, at least 4 months ago when our TA checked.

guess the world is safe from me too then. After 1300+, I still can't post attachments. What are you trying to attach? You can add hyperlinks to sites -but the powers that be (aka moderators) are picky- and post pictures by posting hyperlinks to webhosting places. What wonderful, fun, witty things do you wish to share? Enquiring minds want to know? Did you solve one of life's great mysteries like: How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

Actually, I just wanted to be able to post hyperlinks. It wouldn't let me do that in the early days. I'll try it again soon and see if I can.

Went to a BBQ yesterday and decided to have everyone help me try to develop a slcaker slurpee. BIG PROBLEM...no rum!! But of course, I made up for it.

I've decided I have a new favorite drink. Blended vodka/lemon drop martinis! Whoo hoo! Very strong, very yummy!! I'm liking the lemon idea...rayjay let us know how your testing went.

I would be on the Magic right-now-next-year...sigh.
