June 26 - July 3 on the Magic

welcome kate099, i hope you read about our dismeet plans. i would be happy to add you and your family to our dismeet list. i hope you will plan to join us. green ribbons and all. i'm sure your son will find some congenial adults.

dvc, i was going to bring the list with me but if people prefer i can send it via pm. as for a 2d dismeet sunday and monday are seadays so perhaps then would be a good time. i'll leave that up to someone else. i don't want to be too pushy.

californiakids, our son ned is 14 so he will be in the teen program with your son. i doubt ned will make the effort to contact anyone pre-cruise but perhaps we can introduce them on the ship. if your son would like to try emailing ned send me a pm and i will give you his email address.

We finally received our docs! :teeth: Now we feel official! For those of you who booked with DVC pts, your docs should be there any day now! Whoo whoo!!!

Leslie! Your DDs letter came today! Adorable! Now my DD has a face with the name so they'll recognize each other! :chat:

BTW: I just got back this afternoon from a weekend reunion at WDW. The new Mickey's Philharmonic is NOT to be missed if anyone is doing the parks too!

Thanks for the info, we are going to the parks before the cruise. :)

Holly, I'm glad to hear that your documents came. If I don't get them tomorrow I'm going to call, again. The movers come on Monday, so we're cutting it pretty close. Why do DVCers have to wait? That's not fair!

We work with a travel agent and she delivered our docs on Monday night. We have so much to do before the cruise that were going crazy. After we disembark the ship we'll be visiting my brother and his family in Philadelphia Pa. for the 4th of July. He was just relocated by his job. We plan to visit (along with my brothers family) Washington DC on July 5th and visit New York City on July 8th and 9th. Fly home on July 10th from JFK. At this point we feel more stressed out than excited about our post cruise vacation. We have never been to that part of the country. It will be an adventure. I know the kids will enjoy being with their cousins.

Hello to all. We will be joining you in two weeks. We are travel agents and we just decide to go yesterday. Got documents today. We have been on 15 cruises but this is the first Disney. My wife is a Disney fanatic so to speak we have been going, to the park since 1975. We live 35 minutes from WDW and we still go quite often with Grandchildren, all our own are grown. I have hesistated before because we both like casinos and Disney does not offer one. But this will be a trip my wife will really enjoy, so it's of to cruise we go. We will try to see you at meet and greet.

welcome arbo2368, i look forward to hearing your professional evaluation of dcl. i hope you read the posts about the dismeet and will join us. i am compiling a list of disboarders and would be happy to add you to the list.

see you in two weeks.

i don't think that dismeet or disboarder is in websters.

Welcome arbo2368, I'm travelling with my daughter and two grandchildren. This is our second Disney cruise in less than two years and we are very excited. We had a terrific time last October and look forward to the same in two weeks. We'll see you at the dismeets. :boat: :flower1:

2 weeks from tday i will be ........sleeping, eating, reading on the verandah, VACATIONING!

i brought up 2 suitcases today and i am setting up the living room otherwise known as the staging area to commence packing. we don't use our living room much so it is the perfect place to collect clothes, toiletries, etc. the goal this year is to wear what we pack. in other words, pack less.

see you all soon.

We'll be vacation stuff shopping today. Hopefully we can have all our shopping done by next weekend. The kids are already out of school and Cori is a teacher with her last day on Thursday 6/17. She'll be packing during the week. Two weeks to go!!!!!

I've had suitcases in my spare bedroom for several weeks. I throw things in as I think of them. The only problem is that there is no order to things. So I'll have to empty the bags and put things where I want them. First I'll have to decide what I really need and not pack for "just in case". I'm pretty busy this week with a three-day workshop, doctor's appointments, etc. so the week of our cruise I'll be joyfully packing. !cheer2:

I'm just not capable of leaving stuff behind. I might need it or want it. Laundry is not going to be on my list of things to do on the cruise, hopefully! I get so excited when I put my dinner clothes away and think about where I'll be wearing that in 2 weeks. Yippee!

We leave tommorrow for WDW!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
we drive to florida and like to give ourselves extra time so we are not rushed getting there. I have to work tonight and a last few minute things in the morning and then we are out of here.

We'll see everyone on the ship. :bounce: :bounce:

well bags packed and we fly out tomorrow.. a week or so in wdw then the cruise...cant wait..

Myself and son (16) will be on the June 26 cruise. Husband can't get away for this one. Can't wait, should be a great time. Son is a disney fanatic. We are from Wisconsin and have been going to Disney World every year since he was 5 years old. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is our first disney cruise. Have late seating for dinner and don't know what excursions we will do. Are not very interested in snorkeling since just did that in Mexico. Again, any suggestions would be appreciated. I know my son would love to get into the Mickey Mania trivia but I know they usually pick a younger child with an older one, so if anyone has a younger child who would want to do this, I know my 16 year old son would love to.
