Hi all. My fiance and I will be getting married on this cruise, on Castaway Cay!! There can be up to 3 weddings during this cruise and we wanted to see if anyone else who is getting married has posted yet!!

I just got on this board tonight for the first time and, while I am excited to meet on here, I must admit I am feeling a little behind with everyone's FEs and custom lanyards, etc. already designed!!

I will have to keep reading and get some ideas....then get moving as our wedding party has 12 staterooms so far!! Yikes!!

Hey Guys!!! I know I have been awol for a while, but my business partner and I moved offices and it has been hectic!!! For a while our family thought we might have to move or postpone the cruise, but now it looks like we are still on for the 26th!!!

I'll go back and try to catch up, but could someone give me an update on the FE and Lanyards?

I'm interested in the lanyard team now that we have committed to this cruise

It's myself, my DH (Darren), my DS (Andrew 17) and my DD (Kelly 13-14 by cruise).

I have had 5 FE families respond that would like to help with payment as a FE gifts. Thank you.
We also had 3 families who are not doing the FE respond and they want to buy lanyards. And have ordered at least 28 of them.
With all the FE families counted so far we would need 110 maybe a few more lanyards.

Cut off date should be by the end of March. So I would have time to collect payment and process the order. My daughter and I are willing to help with printing the logo onto card stock and making sure they arrive onto the ship. We are using the logo GoofyIsAsGoofyDoes made.

Hi again here is the example of the lanyard logo. I worked on this for several hours. Test printing several images this is the best image. The rounded picture kept coming out to dark. This picture is faded a little but you get the idea. Sorry it is so small I can't figure out how to post a larger image.

I have to get fresh printer ink to print them all.

I actually like this one better! The round one was really cool but this one will fill the lanyard holder with the entire picture.

The whole family are Disnoids. I am a former Castmember and a full blown Disnoid.
Our two oldest children will be 16 for this cruise and our youngest will be 10 going on 23 LOL.

I'm SO excited about this cruise and to make it even more special we set sail on my birthday. The last time we went we set sail on our oldest son's birthday. So I guess it's becoming a tradition.

Can't wait to hear back from everyone!

Welcome!! You can PM my mom (tammyepolytinkfan) and she can get you on the list for lanyards. They're $2.75 a piece or you can sign up as a FE family...

FE=Fish Extender. As you probably already know there's a fish outside of your door, and we hang little pockets off of them for gifts from our fellow DIS'ers. If you want to join in on that you can PM CSwan1 and she will put you on the list. As for the pockets, you can get them custom made on Ebay or you can make your own out of fabric. I've seen them made out of mini tote bags too! I think there are some threads on the main DCL board that show pictures for an example.

Continuing on my lanyard tangent, if you don't want to get gifts for all of the cruisers on the list but you still want to participate, you can become an FE family. You'll pay a small portion of the total cost for our lanyards and in return some of the people in our group will get a lanyard 'from' you.

I worked at Epcot Innoventions. First as a member of the GE Exhibit team. Then I worked at the Honeywell House of Innoventions. What's weird is I remember showing things like digital video records (now known as TiVO), HD TV's, and lots of other things that are now readily available. From there I worked on what was known as the "fly team." We were trained on all the exhibits and shows so if someone called in sick we were able to cover any position in the area.
I also worked as a VIP tour guide for Guest Relations.

It was definitely a great time.
