aw man, I didn't even come over here after my little complaining session
What is involved in organizing the FE? I might be willing to do it if it isn't too insane!
Really just need someone to maintain a list of all participants, cabin number and number of adults, children (and maybe gender & ages).
We'd need to take a group consensus of whether we want to leave it as a large group, or break it down to say 20-25 cabins per group. I've done both ways and there is good and bad to each.
Yeah, I could do that. So really, all the work is done before you leave. I will post a message later tonight asking who wants to participate. I am sure it will change over the next year and 10 days.![]()
A recommendation on how to collect information.
Google docs allows you to create a 'form' which is just basically a questionnaire and then you post the link to the group. Peeps just fill in the form/questionnaire and google docs automatically puts the answers into a spreadsheet for you.
If you need help, I could work with you preparing the form, but I know I won't be able to take on the full job of FE co-ordinator as I will almost certainly be super, mad busy in the last two weeks up to the cruise.
Its a nice easy way to collect information. You don't end up copying things down wrong as everyone puts in their own information and the data is easy to manipulate in the spreadsheet. I used this method to co-ordinate orders for the Panama Canal Certificates on our Wonder PC cruise this year.

Google Docs is a GREAT idea. I will play around with it and see what I can come up with. It would be MUCH easier than getting PMs and having to add and subtract people for a year. I will probably take any help I can gt, even if it is just setting up the file, but let me see what I can do with it.
Thanks!![]()
Hi Everybody!
Just a quick drive-by posting. Hope everyone is doing well!
We have a busy summer planned, then we're really looking forward to doing some research and planning for the cruise. This will be our first Western Itinerary, so we're looking forward to hearing what everyone else did in the ports on past cruises, what excursions you loved or didn't like.
Take care!!!

We've been to Cozumel and Costa Maya several times, but oddly enough, we've never been to Grand Cayman. Somehow, we always had "special" Westerns that missed it.
So I can help out with Coz and CM questions, but will have plenty of my own about GC.

Kevin said he might actually be interested in the Stingray "thingy"

1st time visiting GC, we ended up tendering from the other side due to rough seas so all excursions were cancelled. Last time we were at GC, we did an excursion to Rum Point Beach that included the Sting Ray City. We watched our boat leave for SRC while we were eating our lunch. Food took FOREVER to get there...............so we've never made it there either.
