I'll be in Omaha in July, also. My whole family (including my daughter, son-in-law and grandsons) all live in Omaha. I'm going for a visit in between the two babie's birthdays....I couldn't go in June and then again in August.

Thanks. It is extremely hard. I would like to close my eyes and pretend none of this is happening again. 2008/2009 was one of the most difficult years of my life.

Stacy, have fun! I think it's been 5 yrs since we were in Omaha (for a cousins wedding). My dad is 1 of 9 and one of his brothers ended up in Omaha. I have an Aunt and 4 cousins there now -- the #5 cousin (their youngest sister) lives in London (works for ABC) with her husband.

Well it's 3:30 am and I am wide awake. Fortunately between 24/7 news and HGTV I am kept well entertained.
If anyone is interested, news still has the sky falling at any second and on HGTV, people are still bickering over closet space and my DD and I decided everyone in America must "entertain" a whole lot more than we do.
We do a sit up every time someone uses the word "entertain" or the woman says " this closet is big enough for my clothes, I don't know where you are going to put your clothes" to the guy.

This just cracked me up!!
We have family over alot but, not *outsiders* not much....Heck, my 13yr old has only had 1 b-day party that included non family members and the almost 10yr old has never had a b-day party that included non family members....
I always think that we should have friends over but, Jon isn't much for *friends*.

I know it's been a while, I'm checking in again. We've got about a month until we can finally pay our deposit with DFTW. Can't wait for our year from the wedding in June and of course the start of a fun cruise!!! Hope everyone is doing good.

Just checking in. Haven't been on the boards much lately. The last few months have been a blur. My Mom fractured her back the end of March and passed away on May 13th. So I have spent my last 2 months at hospitals, nursing homes and finally at the local Hospice.

I will need this cruise more than even now.
