haha Yeah, but we always end up planning trips that aren't at the "right" time. Looks like we're gonna be there too early for the new Ariel ride. That figures. LOL

That stinks. It gives you a good reason to try and go back though.

We just got home from the Wonder 2 day Cruise to Nowhere, with our friends
our4Fosterkids, and other dissers....Had to take advantage of the rebooking discount, and of course we desiced to join the Pirates again. Had so much fun on the EBPC with you guys and can not wait to do it again.

Has anyone heard from Andrew in the UK ?

Can I put a suggestion in for any photo sharing site this time...? Can it be a bit easier to use, such as Shutterfly... There are spots for discussions and other things too. I had a heck of a time this the other site.

We are just returned from our little Wonder sailing = and now we are BOOKED for this voyage!!!! Please officially count us in!!!

Like 90% of everyone else we got a verandah cabin - and learned a little about the few inside cabins with "Magical" digital portholes! Yeah.... they have INSIDE cabins with a digital feed outside that also flashes other views - ocassionally with our favorite characters and so forth! See the quote below: I was so intrigued that I sort of wanted one of those - however they were completely sold out!!!! No surprise there!

A Magical Porthole for Inside Staterooms. . .

For some added Disney magic, all Inside Staterooms feature a Magical Porthole, providing Guests with a real-time view of the outside of the ship that reflects the actual stateroom's location—port or starboard. High-definition cameras placed on the exterior of the ship feed live video to an LCD flat-screen monitor with a stylized nautical frame cleverly disguised as a porthole.

Be on the lookout for enchanting surprises; you never know who or what might pop by! It could be a beloved Disney character or a pirate ship. And when it's time for bed (or a nap), just turn off the Magical Porthole with a quick flip of the switch.

Great idea! I need to bring some of that spray on band aid stuff though. Didn't think about taking a dip in the salt water after the sand tore off some my skin. Youch. We need to find some turf to play on.

We booked this cruise on the Magic last week. When I booked it I knew this had to be a fun cruise because all the oceanview rooms were gone!

It would seem that DCL has increased the ratio of verandah cabins significantly over the number of window and inside cabins - which may explain why they have sold out of the inside and window catagories so soon. Or so that was what our DCL rep told us aboard ship yesterday. Here is how the numbers of cabin types tally:

Ocean View with Balcony: 900
Ocean View (no balcony): 100
Inside Cabins: 250

Gee... you guys are SO QUICK with the replies tonite???!!! While I was still EDITING that posting you replied? And I went back to look for where I got it - and I can't (easily) find where I got it? There were several images and I think there were also variants for Dreams and Fantasy in up to 1600x n size. Obviously, the 1600 was too big so I quickly dismissed looking at it/or using it.

And yes - OUR family had a good time. We had a total of 14 families / cabins in our group - however - we discovered that our chatting about the cruise gave rise to TWO other cruise groups from friends or folks Alicia (my spouse) works with!!! So - technically, we counted 40+ cabins sold as a result of our chatting it up!!! Crazy.

And regretfully, I suspect DCL stripped some of thier experienced staff for the new ship(s) and new GREEN crew must have been aboard the Wonder. Some of our party were left waiting supposedly 90 minutes to be served lunch. They were the 2nd party in the door - a party of 18 spread over a few tables - and it seems the vast majority of the dining room waitied about 90 minutes for thier main entree? I thought the claim UNBELIEVABLE - until I spoke to the dining manager in our dinner venue - Parrot C. She admitted she was dining manager in Tritons that same day for lunch - and that they had very slow delivery of main entrees for all three venues that lunch hour! It was litterially a technical service melt-down?!!! And she added it was not her (or her dining staffs') fault. We shared a somber moment then she cordially trotted off. She knew I was a repeat enthusiast of unusual enthusiasm from our prior conversations -

Aside from that - we played the "How Well Do you Know Your Spouse" game - and we WON! I earned a bottle of champaigne and 2 passes for the spa. I'm not so much a spa type so I had Alicia go with one of her girlfriends. In the spa they ran into several other friends and they litterally had a long enjoyable time "talkin' story" as they say among Hawaiians....

I won't TELL you about some of my "revealing" responses to those "spicey" game questions... as I'll leave it to other DIS friends to share and GLOAT over... and yeah ... it was mildly embarassing....

I too just showed these to Austyn and her face lite up as well. She is very excited to see both of them along with Kaitlin. I can't wait to see them all together all grown up. They are going to make a lot of boys cry.

I actually suspect I will NOT gather a big group for this sailing - however - as U kno ... stranger things have happened? Eh?

BTW - I loved those pictures.... really charming! I'm still grittin' my teeth over the journey back to get caught up on all that has transpired on the thread. IDK if I'll get to it - well ... what am I saying? It's only 500+ postings!? I can read through it in a snap!
