Good morning everyone!!!
Well, Andy's little league team did great at playoffs last night, containing the first place team to only 7 runs. The phillies lost 1-7, but that is really not bad considering Andy and his friends had suffered at the hands (&bats) of the Dodgers in 0-28 and 0-26 losses during the season. So, this was quite the pleasant surprise for our team, all the coaches, and parents. And I am sure the Dodgers were STUNNED!!! The kids did us proud, and ended the season on a high note.

Wow-- Beth and Tony and Lindsey and Logan are just about to head to Florida!!! I am so excited for them and hope they have a fabulous trip! I will be thinking of that auto train this afternoon, chugging its way to a MAGICal location.

Heather and Pat are already down there, soaking up the sunshine! I am sure they are going to look fabulously tan and fit when we see them at the port!

What an exciting time for all of us-- those of us packing still and those of us en route!
Well, as for those already in FL, can't say that I am jealous -- YET! We are so far behind where I wanted to be by now. Keep thinking of more information I have to leave for my in-laws. If they didn't think I was anal after knowing me 19 years, they sure will after they see the "notebook" I am going to leave them! Hey, did you know you can actually sign a medical authorization for your DOG!?!?!?!?!? Yes, yes, I already did one for the kids.
Working on postcard labels today, and hoping Howard might get to my office around lunch time so we can go get some travelers' checks and $2 bills and quarters and cash for his mom.
Thank you to everyone who has been so sweetly concerned about my mom. She is out of ICU, but I'd really like to see her greatly improved by Thursday night. Pretty scary to be leaving the country at this point. Please just keep the prayers going.

Shirley, I just want to tell you that I think you are an amazing person. I have really enjoyed all our phone conversations and correspondence. You are truly a "light". We will keep Norm and you in our prayers, and if we don't get to see you this trip, we will see you next time, and our kids will finally get to meet "that really nice lady that made our gift baskets on our first Disney cruise and that [Mom] got to be friends with" We will look forward to staying in touch.

Well, Got Ralph and Ross' dress clothes packed, just mine to take care of and clean the house. The kids are taking last days of Finals at school. Rianna is getting her hair cut today and Ross tomorrow. I think we are just about ready for Friday "early" a.m. to get here. I am nervous as usual and will be a basket case by the time I have to get on that plane. I am not a good traveler, lots of bonine and prayers. Maybe a nice stiff drink when we get to the Radisson. Looking forward to meeting everyone on Friday and Saturday and thanks again, Shirley for all your help for this trip. Wish we could have met up with you at the Radisson. The word ISOLATED sounds much better than the earlier reports. It sounds as if it will be hit or miss. Either way we will have a great time!! We have dinner ressies at Louie's Back Yard and many plans for the day.

Had a hard rain storm go through here which lasted maybe a half hour -----sun is back out ----the only sign of the rain is the wet payment -----called my uncle Abel in Key West and he said they didn't have any rain -cloudy but that was all
weather changes here faster than I can change my mind ---don't panic if it is raining when you get here.
Roberta, Cam, Howard, Beth and everyone else - thank you for allowing me the pleasure of being a part of your excitement - it has been so much fun -each time I have become a part of a thread that keeps giving smiles ---I feel lost after the trip is over and the thread slips to the past ---I felt that way with May 11th and the so many more ----this is what I call my "quiet time".
Anyhow everyone have a safe trip and also remember mi casa es tu casa -my home is your home ---Norm and I are here for any problems that may arise ---and again this includes everyone not just the ones that ordered a basket--- --------we are the safe port here for you.

Well it has been sunshine here today. We got 3 inches of rain on Saturday alone and I am sure if you were any where in the north east or the east coast for that fact, you received lots of rain. There were lots of areas around us that got major flooding in their basements. I thank God we had no problems. So I guess we are very deserving of some sunshine. I checked out weather.com for Cape Canaveral and Key West for the weekend and it looks like a scattered thunder storm, typical Florida weather. What is Florida without a little thunderstorm daily. Well, I am sure we will have great weather. If Shirley has anything to do with it, I am sure her prayers along with all of our prayers will work just fine. The "Big Guy" up above will come through for us. Almost all packed and trying to clean. Did the yard work today with Ralph and hopefully that will be it before we go. I want to get into bed at a decent hour on Thursday as we have to leave the house at 5:15 a.m. to get to the airport by 5:45 a.m. Hope to be by the Radisson Pool by 1:00 p.m. on Friday with a drink in my hand. I know people say half the clothes and twice the money but everytime I take something out of the suitcase I talk myself into putting it back again. I'm driving myself nuts. Oh well, I squeeze everything in somehow.

Roberta, I'm with you starting to get a little nervous about the traveling but I'll stay focused on the end result. I'll be looking for you sipping a drink by the pool and I'll be glad to join you.

Fpr whatever it is worth to each of you - just try to keep the calm - remember getting ready, doing last minute things, running around like a chicken with his head cut off - EVERTHING connected with your trip is going to be part of the memories WAY past the trip ----keep a journal and when you are all my age, you will read it with a smile glued to your face I should know I did exalty that over 30 years ago when I went on a trip with my children and oh my gosh what beautiful memories I have today even tho i didn't think I was going to let my kids survive to tell the tales --and remember when - now listen your airplane ride is going to be good - your trip to the hotel is going to be good - everything is going to be fine - -----I know Norm will be fine - thanks for the thoughts and prayers -

Well, 1 1/2 hrs. left to work today and one more day, tomorrow. I think I have everything under control Can't wait to get up on Friday, that is if we get any sleep on Thursday night. Things are sounding better for this coming Sunday in Key West!!!! What once was "ISOLATED" is now "STRAY".

Sunday: Partly cloudy with a stray thunderstorm. Highs in the mid 80s and lows in the low 80s.

Roberta -- We will be at the Phila. Airport at or before 4:30 am on Friday for our flight. We are expecting to be picked up by the Delaware Express Shuttle around 3:45 am. The airport is only about 25-30 minutes away. Our flight is around 6:40 am. I am sure we will try to catch up on some sleep on the plane. We are looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces at the Radisson. Have a safe and uneventful flight.

Howard you guys have a safe trip too. Maybe we will try to call you guys on Thursday night as I think we will touch base with Caroline and Mike too. Finish up all your packing and cleaning and then we can all leave. Stay cool and stress free!!! Yeah right!!! Hi everyone still left at home before we all head down to Florida for that great cruise we are about to embark on.....Just about all the cleaning is done, the packing is done except the last minute stuff that morning, all we need to do is pass the next day at work and then we can cruise on into the sunset and sunrise and sunset and sunrise...ok ok, I am not too excited for this trip. I think we are as ready as we are going to be. Ralph just left for work and I will go in tomorrow, Thursday morning and hope that the day flies by. I hope everyone is busy packing seeing I have not seen anyone else on this thread except Howard today. Take care everyone ..............

Good Morning Everyone!

We Should be getting to the PORT at about 10:30-11am.
We fly down via "Vacation Express" to the Sanford-Orlando Airport. Gee, i hope they have concrete runways. Our AAA airline tickets have "Pace Airlines" on it. Does that mean they keep just enough PACE to stay up in the air? Anyway, what is there to do at the Terminal before they let us on the boat? Do they have FAST PASS for the Vacation Club, DIS members, or is there a kiosk that kicks out Fast Pass to get on the Boat first? What about Fast Pass at the Bar. First one to loose their kids gets a free drinks!

My "DATE" with DD11 this week at Disney was a wash out. At Islands of Adventure Sunday, when we were in a ride it was raining outside, At MGM Monday, it was a washout. We stayed in the park till 2pm then went back at the hotel. We saw Scooby Doo Monday night. That was good, but left Orlando 12:30pm Tuesday. So i did not get my fill of Mickey.

Good morning,

I put the last load in the dryer before I left this morning. I guess we are as ready as we are going to be. I have six open suitcase all over the bedroom and living room. It is going to be hard to get through the day at work today. I am training a new A/R clerk. I hope he can last a week with out me, since no one else knows the system. Got a hair cut last night. Not quite sure if I like it or not but we will see. DH went to the bank and got all the $$ and travelers checks. I divided up all the tip $$ so we wouldn't spend it. One last question. Can you use cash any where on the ship or does everything have to be charged? Thanks again for all your help and wonderful information.

Every one have a safe and uneventful trip down. We will see you tomorrow or Saturday. I can't believe it is fiannly here.

John - Wish there was a Fast Pass to get on the ship and especially one to the bar. I know we will lose our kids fast as they are 14 & 17 and they will lose us real fast!! If you have been on the ship before they have a Castaway Cay Club line if not there are lots of lines. Hope you make it there. If you get there as early as you say, you will be fine. We got there around 10:30 last year and we ended up one of the first few in the terminal.

Joanne - No cash on the ship except the tips, we put ours aside too and DH is getting money set for the Town Car Driver too. Everything else will go on the KTTW Card charge. You can settle up with cash at the end and not use the credit card if you choose. You will have to go to Guest Services to get that situated but they will take cash at the end. Remember cash if you need to buy a stamp at Castaway Cay and mail the post cards from there, they have a real neat postal stamp that is only there and you can send one home to yourself and get it about a month after you get home. It is fun as you surprise yourself in the mail when you least expect it.

Everyone have a safe journey south and I am sure we will all be looking for those green ribbons at the terminal, at the Radisson and on deck 10 at the sailaway party. See everyone soon...

Sorry have not been on the boards for several days. I had to get on just to catch up with all of you. My family flew out this afternoon back to Idaho. I just got back from manicure and will chill a bit before doing last minute items. We head out at 4:00 am tomorrow to catch flight out of Nashville. See you all tomorrow or Saturday.
