June 22, 2010 - 5-night to Key West

Just booked the 5-night Wonder cruise for June 22, 2010. The cruise is a graduation trip for my middle DD. It will just be the 2 of us. Anyone joining us?

DDBFF(15),DS(9),and DB(41).Yep, we took half the ship.

We are planning on doing three days at WDW before the cruise.

I'm sure there will be more joining as it gets closer.

We will have to come up with a name for our cruise. So if you have any suggestions throw 'em out here.

Glad to have yall. We are DVC members too. We are fixing to make our res at BWV, our home resort. Then in 4 months try to get a spot at BLT.

As far as a name,the best I have come up with is,"From Key to shining Cay."

I just put my deposit down. It will me me (34 will be 35 the on the 28 of June), DH (37) and DD (5). In addition we will also be join by my parents. This is our very first cruise and we are all so excited.

There are 6 of going on this cruise -- My DH and I (let's just say we are grandparents as far as age goes), our DD who will be 35 and her DH who will be the same age, and our DGS (turns 11 on the day we sail!) and our DGD
who will be 14. I'm sure she will look forward to possibly meeting some other cruisers her age online before we leave. We look forward to meeting you next June.

Wow, it looks like a lot of teenagers and young adults so far. We are 45 and are bringing our DS 22, DS 17, DS 15 and DD 13. This will be our third disney cruise. The first 2 were 3 and 4 days. Looking forward to 5 days and going at a time when the water should be warm!

Count us in too! We have three rooms right now, my parents in one, MIL in another and me, DW, DD8, DD3, DD1.5 in the last! Its our first cruise EVER! So we are super excited, well at least I am!

I have not booked yet but we will be taking this cruise! This will be our first Disney cruise and my kids first cruise ever! The cast is Me (34), DH (42), my step son (20), my dd (10), My dd (5), and ds (1)!

We'll be on the 6-22-10 cruise too. Me (48), DW (47), DS(11), DD(9), DS(6). Spending a few days at Bay Lake Towers before the cruise as part of DVC.

We sat down to Thanksgiving dinner and my parents informed me that not only would they be on the cruise with us, but so would my Sister, BIL and my niece. Now my DD is asking everyday when we are leaving. I might have to start my count down before April at this rate. I guess 4 is to young to understand months and not days.

I am really looking forward to this cruise!

We are going on this trip will my DH's family, so the cast of characters will be:

Me (31) DH (36) DD (6) DD (5)
MIL and FIL
BIL (40) SIL (38) DS (10) DD (6) DD (5)

We are heading down the Friday before to do a couple of days at WDW and a day at Seaworld. I think we are going to have a GREAT time!

I am anxious to have the cruise open up for excursion reservations. Does anyone know exactly when that is?

The date that you can make reservations depends on how many Disney cruises you have taken. No DCL cruises, or after one cruise up to five, you can reserve 90 prior to sailing. From five to ten cruises, you can reserve 105 days prior to sailing, and if you have taken more than ten DCL cruises, you can reserve up to 120 days prior to sailing.

Glad to have you aboard. You have a really big group sailing together. We have six of us.

I found out today that one of my co-workers will be on the same cruise as us this afternoon. Even funnier is that she is on the same deck and almost right across the hall. What a small world.

Hello fellow cruisers! We booked this cruise a long time ago but I wanted to wait until we got closer and I was certain we would go before we got to excited....but we just got our "Welcome to your Disney Cruise" mailer today (just some info...and a reminder to make ressies, etc) and I think it's time to get excited!

It will be myself, DH, DS(16), DS(12) and DS(7). It's our 3rd cruise, first 5-nighter (previous were 3 and 4 nights). We'll be following up our cruise with 5-nights at BLT (yep, we're DVC).

Love the "Key to shining Cay" Name!

Welcome aboard Kim! I was thinking about when we might receive our packet of info from the cruise line. Now that I know that you have already received yours, I will really be checking the mailbox several times a day. This will be our 7th DCL cruise, I think. I know you'll really enjoy the longer cruise. We did a 3 day with the kids several years ago, and it seems as tho you are getting off the ship too quickly after you board -- but then, it seems that way no matter how long a Disney cruise lasts.

We have a quiet group here, up until now at least. I was hoping that maybe we could get some of the kids going on the cruise to meet online before we board the ship. We have a DGS who will turn 11 the day we board, and a 14 DGD. Just wondering if anyone has thought about the kids getting acquainted before we sail. It would be great if they "knew" someone before they get to the clubs.
