June 2017 - what will be new?

Hi all,

My family is going to be at the DLR next June. I was trying to think of what (if anything) would be new to the parks (from right now). We have gone in June before so I know sometimes new things open right around Memorial Day. I'm not trying to plan around anything - just curious if I'm missing anything.

What I am thinking is the GOTG new Tower of Terror and possibly the DL railroad and/or some of the Frontierland closures being re-opened. Although I can see all of this stuff being pushed back to later in the summer.

Am I missing anything? I know this is all speculation. Thanks!

Rumor is that GotG and the ROA, DLRR will be back up 'Summer 2017'. But Summer is anywhere from eaerly-June to early-September.

My 'bet' is that ROA/DLRR will reopen in July timed with DL's 62nd anniversary. GotG is anyone's guess.

I'm thinking ROA might even be open in late May since Fantasmic will be celebrating its anniversary. What better way to start your season than bringing back an old classic with some new looks?
