Yup. I just checked our dates and it's up to $765. Booked yesterday under $300. It was a quick one day drop -- not even sure it lasted more than a few hours.

I just booked with Alamo. Standard size car. Used Visa code and coupon. Total for 15 days (June 15-30) is $289.30. The cheapest I had before this was $465 for the same time period.

Since Alamo doesn't have a Standard aisle at MCO, we'll be choosing from the full size row... DH wants an Impala anyway, so that's probably what we'll take.

I looked yesterday and booked a std. for 10 @ total cost of 137.98. That includes additional driver free
I checked today for same time, it is now 492.00 same car

I don't know if you have to have the card or not. But I looked into joining Costco and it's $55/yr. Depending on the deal you get, that might be worth it... We don't live near any Costco's, but there is one across the border in Canada - so I'm thinking of joining. Even if I don't use it except for this car rental, it might be worth the price....
I'm still checking tho because I found a deal directly thru Avis that comes within a few dollars of the Costco price, so it may not be necessary to join.
This car rental stuff is just as stressful as the airline tix!

Do you have to log-in to your acct first? (I haven't joined yet- no Costco's near me, but I will join if necessary, just to get this rate!)

on Alamo you have to hit the little text that says "More options" right under the big red GO button.

Check daily for your week. Seems like Jue 7th JUST started getting cheap on dollar and avis this past weekend....

prices are getting nuttier!!!! originally I booked from June 7th - June 14th for 99 from Mco to Mco. TECHNICALLY I only need the car from June 7th until mid day June 11th when I check into BC. From there it will just sit there until we leave for airport on June 14th.

I can NOW pick up car at Mco and drop it off at Dolphin on mid day 11th for 72!!! I am thrilled. Not that the 99 vs 72 is a big savings but DH gets sick of dealing with the car at the airport on return day. He always says wish I could leave the car at disney and just not deal with it at airport...

So I think I may give him his wish. how easy to have DD and I check into BC while he drops off car at Dolphin and walks right back over to BC?

On depature day on the 14th our flight is 10 pm so we can have dinner in lounge and leave on ME at 7 pm.

The code is for American. Airlines Advantage . it is their frequent flyer program and you can join for free. The coupon is on carrentalsavers.com. It is a general coupon..
