June 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

Just cancelled Cape May breakfast for June 22nd at 7:40 am...

I'd love to take my son for breakfast around 10:30 to Chef Mickey on June 1st. Unfortunately nothing was available for our travel dates at any of our desired restaurants. So here is my request hoping someone can make this happen. It would be our only sit down meal during our stay!

I tried booking Chef Mickey's for dinner on the 24th but there was nothing. We were able to book California Grill at 9:50 PM, though. Maybe you'll find an opening.

Just cancelled Akershus on 6/20 at 2:05 for 4 people.

I called on a whim this evening and was able to get a much better meal time (6:50) on the same day so I exchanged times.

I am going to cancel a 12pm June 5th ressie at Chefs De France (Remmie makes an appearance then) We got a Ohana breakfast ressie and would rather do that.

I'm going to keep trying! I call Disney dining every few days. Now if only I didn't have to go through the automated prompts and verify EVERYTHING every time I call. It takes up so much time!

I cancelled a 1:25 lunch ressie at Sci-Fi for June 10th today. I know a lot of people were having trouble getting this ressie.

Tomorrow I'm going to cancel a table for two at San Angel Inn at 6:00 PM on June 26th. I would love to switch 1900 Park Fare at 8:20 AM on July 1st for:

Chef Mickey's any time from June 25-29 or
Le Cellier on the 25th, 26th, or the 30th for dinner

For some reason I didn't think to do ADRs until recently for our June trip. I call every day, it is so frustrating! I finally cancelled DDP, but would still like to get into some of our choices. So, I'm subscribing! Great thread!

Seriously, I'm so surprised at the fact there is just about ZERO availability anywhere June 5-9. I mean, I know I'm overlapping Gay Days, but geesh, you'd think there'd be some openings where I want to go.

I really wonder if the few people on the DIS who are cancelling are the rare ones. I just have to believe some people don't bother to cancel...

I feel your pain. Nothing June 10-17 either. Four years ago we went the same time we are going this year and I had no trouble at all getting my choice of reservations, this time it has been a nightmare. I have probably called 25 times by now. I have given up on character meals and am now just calling for random places and those are booked up too.

I am getting to the point that it feels like the DDP is going to be a waste.

All this trouble with ADRs is why I am pretty happy I went with the QSDP. I only have 3 ADRs for our whole trip.

Don't jump to too many conclusions. While I am sure there are people who are looking for a week's worth of ADRs, not everyone is. Personally, I'm only seeking out one ADR for the entire trip aside from out HDDR reservation.

I know I mentioned there being zero availability, but I should have clarified. After my last call for the CP ADR I'm looking for, the CM I spoke with commented that there seemed to be very little availability across all my dates for dining.

I have Crystal Palace breakfast on 6/12 10:15AM I would be willing to trade.

Also Crystal Palace late lunch on 6/10, 2:35pm.

And a PSB 11AM breakfast on 6/13.

I am looking for:

Ohana or Park Fare dinner on 6/12, or if you have either of those on a different night I would consider it (between 5pm - 6:40pm)
