Does "claiming" a recently cancelled ADR really work most or some of the time?

I cancelled a June ADR a month ago and after changing my mind, I could not get it back during the same conversation with a CM.

I had a feeling that the computer system was not making the table available again for some unknown amout of time.

I will be cancelling a CRT lunch for July 2. The resevation is for 2:20 pm. When I booked it I thought our flight left that day a 8:00 pm which I thought would be plenty of time to eat lunch but when I looked last night at our tickets we leave Orlando at 5:00 pm. So I plan to keep our Crystal Palace breakfast but cancel our CRT lunch because there is no way the timing will work. I haven't cancelled yet but I will for sure cancel. I don't know if I can give them somone elses ressy number when I cancel or do I just cancel and hope you pick it up? I have never done this before.

Hi. I have 3 CP that I could trade, all on suggested MK days: One is June 10 at 2:35 and the others are June 12 at either 9:10AM or 10:15.

I also have a 50s PTC on a suggested DHS day June 11 at 11:20.

Also, have a 5:05 BOMA on Friday at June 9th.

And lastly, might consider trading my 11:00am PSB Breakfast on June 13.

I am looking for:

Ohana Dinner: on Friday June 12 (between 5:00 - 7:00pm)
Ohana Breakfast: Saturday June 13
and/or
1900 PF Dinner: June 8, 11 or 12 (before 7pm)

Anyone want to swap a Chef Mickey's breakfast for a Crystal Palace dinner?

I am specifically looking for dinner for 6 at the Crystal Palace for June 25th any time betweem 5 and 7:15pm.

I have a Chef Mickey's breakfast for 8 for the 25th at 7:20am. I know it's early - I was hoping to go right from breakfast to the MK and catch the opening show.

I would also be willing to trade Kona Cafe for dinner on the 25th for a Crystal Palace dinner (not the best trade for some, I know).

I do keep calling to no avail, although I'm not losing hope. There are always cancellations.
