Not sure, but do AP rates come out throughout the day (anytime of day) or soley in the morning until they are sold out? Called this morning @ 7:30AM nothing as of. Hoping for a June AP rate for WL, are the AP rates for June for all resorts or select resorts?

yes they can. Usually it's right before they close for the night (10:00) and we know before the CM realize it.

Disney released AP rates for the Epcot resorts only last year for the end of June but hadn't done that previously.

I am new to this. We are going June 4th-11th and staying at the Grand Floridian. I have the AAA discount and made my reservations through them. Who do I call and what exactly do I have to ask for to get the other special rates?

Nothing this morning but the passholder site is screwy. When I click on passholder it says "welcome Joyce" but the heading at the top of the screen states "florida resident passholder" which I'm not. Strange

...and BTW what the heck happened to my countdown

People on this thread are looking for Disney to release some discount codes for after June 6th, when present discounts cease. Some of us have Annual Passes, some are just waiting for General Public discount rates. NO DISCOUNTS HAVE BEEN RELEASED YET for our timeframe. *Plus*, since you used AAA, I think your agent has to call Disney to get any changes to your travel arrangements? *Also*, Disney only releases a limited number of rooms at a discount, IF THEY DO IT AT ALL. Nothing is guaranteed. Plus the discount rooms can all be snapped up on the the same day they're released.

I called too. Nothing yet. My heart starting beating faster though when I got the "lines are busier than usual" spiel. I really think they will be out in the next few weeks. The question is of course - when, what resorts, and how much availability. Tick tock tick tock!

I just changed my Room Only in July to a MYP w/dining. My family only likes to stay at the AKL and I saw that the AP rates were only for the epcot resorts last year. When I figued it out, an AP rate room only saves me about 100 dollars + or -. But that's only if they include the AKL

Now I can cancel my package up until may 27th without a fee.

According to the historical dates codes were released on 5/17/2006 and 06/08/2006

So If AKL is in the code that may come out around 05/17 I'll cancel and go back to a room only to save $100. If it comes out after 5/27 with the AKL in it I'll have lost $100. But at that point I don't have to watch what my kids want to eat price wise to stay on budget. Either way I'm not going to fret over $100 or $85.00 if you count the $15.00 Planet Hollywood GC that you get with the package.

Since we are going the beginning of June I am not holding my breath! IT would be so nice to have a discount especially since my husband has no idea I changed our reservations from POFQ to WL. Won't he be surprised when we get to the airport to get on the Magical Express to the WL!

That's right... I was figuring $101 off.

Well in that case the AP rate costs me $30.00 more than the package.

The dining plans fits us perfectly. We aren't big breakfast eaters, so that's our snack each day. A counter service lunch is what we ate everyday on our last stay. As well a one Table service dinner at night.

With that being said our food budget would have been $136.36 per day for the 4 of us

With the package I can throw caution to the wind and even save $30.00
