My little one is name Kaitlyn too, she is 8, will be 9 in Sept. She should be in 3rd, but missed that darn cut of date. 2nd grade is boring for her she says, too easy. They don't move them up easily, but her teacher gives her extra work, 3rd grade stuf sometimes. Anways, she would love to meet the other girls and if you want to send a private message, I will let her e-mail the other girls before the trip.

I think it would be great to have a DIS meet the day we board. I've only been to one before.

Are there more experienced cruisers who know how to do this?

On our last cruise in Sept we had a meet in the Promanad lounge on the 1st evening on the ship. Alot of us had met the night before the cruise for dinner. Also several of us were staying at the Raddison the night before the cruise. We had a great group on that cruise and some of us still keep in touch. I hope that we will be able to make some lasting frindships on this cruise also.

We have planned to spend a couple of days at the parks before we sail, just because I can't not do the parks at least a little. We are going to be staying at the POP. We really like it there, even if it is a value resort. We have never been to the parks in the summer before so I hope we have time to do some of the things the grils want to do.

In just about 6 weeks we will be leaving here for Florida, its getting close now. I have started getting things together. Soon I will start packing, meybe not. Haave to go now.

Great!!! This will be fun for Chad and Liam to run around together delivering gifts!! Sorry Chad hasn't been chatting much lately with Liam but their on the end of the year testing here at school so he's doing lots of studying at night.

My son, who will be turning 19 a month after the cruise, was also a little concerned. His personality: he's still very young and silly, very much a guy's guy, and likes to be on the go all the time. He plays a lot of sports and XBox games. If this sounds like your son at all, PM me and I'll give you his email.

They need an "adult center" like The Stack. If they had a Wii, I'd hang out there.

By the way, does anyone know why it was so easy to get reservations for Palo on the last night? Am I forgetting something?

Given that it's the last night, the only two explanations I have are:

1) the "'Til We Meet Again" dinner, and
2) tipping the servers is customary that last evening meal

Anyone else able to think of a better reason?

You can get on a waiting list for Palo, but I'd check w/ them on the last night early. Sometimes people cancel b/c they're too burned/tired to go. Or they realize they haven't started packing .

There are four on the ship...6134, 6634, 7120, and 7620. They're all Cat 6, but priced at Cat 7 because of a slight obstruction on the verandah.

We were in 7620 last June on the Wonder...the obstruction is not a big deal, and it's worth the $200.00 savings.

Is it too late to join in all this fun...My son and I are on the Magic going to Tortola this cruise too...This will be our 5th cruise, but first on the Magic. We are so excited!!! We are Jacob (age 11) and Tammy (age 45)..
