June 20, 2009 Magic

Relax Missy, according to the paperwork we received, TOMORROW (Sunday) is the 90 day mark. It better be, we haven't made our final decisions on what excursions we want to book for Tortola and St. Thomas (that's going to be this afternoon's task). :) I was surprised that they would open the booking window on a Sunday, but I guess since it's all done by computer, it doesn't matter what day it is!

I'm showing the same thing...won't be able to book excursions until tomorrow (Sunday, 03/22).

DS and I have our excursions figured out though:

Snorkel at Norman Island (Tortola)
St. Thomas Island Tour (St. Thomas)

Keeping it simple, and will likely just lounge the day away at CC.

13 weeks...woo hoo!

So does that mean that we can book at midnight TONIGHT or TOMORROW night?

We just need Palo. Excursions can wait.

Pretty sure midnight tonight. Not positive, but pretty sure. I'm just going to deal with it tomorrow before I go to church. Since we're not worried about Palo, we shouldn't have too much problem getting our excursions. We also have back ups in place in case our first choice is booked. :)

thanks for all the info! Of course nothing is easy and now American Express is down and they can't process the payment I had made. It's all about the points and I refuse to put it on another card!

Crossing my fingers that Amex gets back online today sometime to process!

I think it is tonight as well. 11 p.m. for me.

Palo brunch is pretty important to us as dinner just isn't an option. My mom is a stroke patient (she is wheelchair bound, paralyzed on one side, and cannot speak), and this trip is her one adventure for the year. The guys keep the kids, and the girls go with mom for brunch. It is always a special memory.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Amy

Good luck Amy!

I guess there will a lot of us staying up late tonight. I'm trying to get:

Palo brunch & dinner

Doubloon on St. Thomas

Swimming w/ Dolphins on Tortola

DH & youngest DS--Stingrays on CC

DS & me--Parasailing on CC (1st time ever. :cool1:  :cool1:  )

Oh & BTW....we're not doing FE.

But, we do look forward to meeting everyone!

Ohh...my...I need to get on the ball and decide what we're going to book. What's everyone else booking?

Wishing you luck on Palo, Amy...I have faith it'll work out for ya!

I'm beginning to feel like I'm watching that old "Heinz Ketchup" commercial...anticipation!

Just watched the Magic sail away on the Port Canaveral webcam with DS. Looked overcast and windy...but I'm sure they're in for a great cruise!

Has anyone seen any uploads of the new menus yet? Saw a few pictures, but that's about it....

Amy: I'm sure you'll get your brunch ressie. Do you have a certain day & time?
If you have any trouble, just book whatever time you can get & then try
to switch when you get on board by going to Diversions. If you going to book tonight though I'm sure you'll be fine.

Good luck everyone!

Is anyone booking anything special at the spa? We're focusing on excursions this time instead of any spa splurges. We did do the couples massage villa thingee on board last time. It was divine!

Wow. This is the most activity I've seen on this thread.

Thanks for the happy thoughts. We really don't care what time on the brunch. Since we are so flexible, we've never had a problem before. Hoping to say the same for this year.

Something about booking reservations makes it seem so much sooner, doesn't it?

Good luck, everybody, with getting precisely what you want.

Anyone know what onboard "classes" might be offered on sea days on our cruise? Trying to plan the sea days and wasn't sure about what might be offered....

Mark

How did everybody do? I got exactly what I wanted. Life is good.

Yes, Life is AWESOME! We wanted Palo brunch and dinner on certain days and got it. Haven't decided on an excursion for St. T yet.

For Tortola - hubby and I honeymooned at Peter Island some 21 years ago. You fly to Tortola and take a private boat. DH is contacting them about us spending they day there. Ahhhh, the memories! (Although I told him it might seem a bit strange coming back there with a 12YO in tow!

And life is good because we have good health, JOBS, and happiness! Things one can no longer take for granted!

Now the hard part (for me at least!) starts. Paid in full. Palo reservations made. Packing list done (easy, this is #6 for us). I have to wait HOW LONG to get on my Magic??????

See everyone soon!

Okay...it's now getting exciting 90 days out feels like it's almost here. So, that being said my 12 yr old ds is looking to start chatting with other boys his age. So, please email me so they can get to know each other. He's big into sports....and lots of fun to be around.

So excited the 90 day mark came. I made our ressies at 9pm last night and got exactly what we wanted and at the times we wanted. We skipped brunch last cruise, but decided to try it this time around. Can't wait for the chocolate souffle...mmm.

I am keeping my eye out for copies of the new menus as well.

Congrats everyone--especially Amy. I hope it's a very nice brunch for you.

We got:

Sunday brunch at Palo
Monday dinner at Palo
St. Thomas Doubloon a.m.
Tortola Doplhin Swim a.m.
CC Stingray for DH & youngest son
CC Parasailing for me & 12 yr old son

I had trouble w/ the website for about 45 minutes before it would finally let me in. Anyone else have trouble when it opened???

Lettie--I'll try to get Liam in touch w/ you so the tween boys can start getting to know each other. Liam is 12.
