Bummer about Mountain Top. Our tour was going to stop there. Just e-mailed the tour provider to see what we will do (if they can still do the tour).

I think that this affects a couple of the excursions:

Butterfly Secrets & Mountain View
St. Thomas Island Tour

and possibly the "Skyride to Paradise Point" (not so sure about that one)

P.S. That "St. Thomas Island Tour" has me confused...we had booked it previously, confirmed with DCL that it was discontinued for trips after 6/5/09...now it looks like it's available again. Dunno if we want to switch back now, or stay with the Screamin' Eagle Jetboat Ride...

We don't usually make plans ahead of time but I wanted to take some pictures of the island. Family was leaning toward the Baths in Tortola but when I saw the ladders over the rocks I don't know. Got out of a cast a month of so ago with a torn legiment that still hurts. I am going to have to check on that one some more.

Lynn, best of luck with the torrential rain. On the "bright" side, it'll make that sunshine onboard the Magic all the more special!

Our flight arrives a little after 11AM, so I'm guessing it'll be around 1PM when we board. We're doing an overnight stay at CBR post-cruise...deciding between EPCOT and DisneyQuest.

Yes...we're taking Delta out of Cincinnati/NKY. Scheduled to arrive at MCO around 11:08 AM. Are you flying out of CMH?

I'd thought about the Baths...however, Matthew and I traditionally take one snorkel each year on the cruise...when he saw Norman Island at Tortola, his eyes lit up.

As for St. Thomas, we did leave ourselves plenty of time to do "whatever" after the Screamin' Eagle. I'd definitely like to get to see some of the island while we're there as well.

Amy, I hope things work out for you on this excursion. Hopefully Mountain Top wasn't a big part of it, and they can come up with an alternate point of interest?

Hey all

We're also in for this cruise!

Me - Ward, 32, husband, and father
Cheri - 36, wife
Sadie - 16, daughter

We ended up booking just last week after an agonizingly long and stressful decision making process. But now that we're booked, we're thrilled and excited as we should be. This will be our fourth cruise with DCL and our second Eastern, but we've never been to Tortola before so this'll be a real treat!

I swear I'm always the last one to get my stuff. But that's okay...as long as it comes in time. I'm getting really excited....we went shopping for a few things last night that we're going to need.

Also, count me in on the meet...just remind me...I tend to forget things really fast. Hey...maybe we can meet before we get on ths ship? We're staying at a hotel the night before there by the port. What hotel is everyone else staying at?

We are staying at the airport Hyatt on June 19th. Is anyone else staying there?

I have 12 Familys on my fish extender list, with 11 girls and 10 boys. Am I counting right.

Any kids having a birthday on the cruise. I think I remember Patrick turns 9 with DVC Mary. Any one else?

Help me with ideas for FE gifts! If there are any ideas I would appreciate it. Also, I am assuming that we just give gifts to the kids...so the total would be 21, right? (11 girls, 10 boys) I also assume the gifts are anonymous?

I can't believe the trip is only 25 days away. This will be my family's 2nd Disney Cruise. We were on the Wonder last August and had a blast; my wife wasn't sure she had her sea legs so we took a shorter cruise only to learn, it was too short!!!

This trip started with me watching the sailings to determine which cruise we could take; once we picked this one and booked it, our friends who are "Disney fanatics like us" asked if they could go with us. Of course, I said yes. This will be their 15th Disney Cruise! Then our friends who go to WDW in December with us wanted to come to!! Which is great! Then these 2 families had a mutual couple who live on cruise ships but had never taken a Disney cruise decided they were coming too!

So all together, this is what we have...

Our "15th Cruise" Couple - DH and DW
Our Christmas VC friends

So, all together there is 13 of us and only 3 kids!!!! I better get packin!!!

About your Fish Ex question. I usually give one or two small family gifts and a bunch of little things for the kids. I put my Dis name on some. There a couple of threads on stuff you can get. Candy, little games, eye patch, stickers and anything disney. Dollar store, Target dollar spot, oriental trading. Silly little things seem to go over just as good as the bigger things so don't stress on it having it cost a lot. And as far as the Fish Extender I don't sew so mine is hot glued. (Don't you laugh when you see it)
