We arrived at the boardwalk today around 1:00ish, of course the room wasnt ready. but that is ok we walked over to the beach club for a snack and then went to the outlet mall and puplix to get some groceries. That place is wonderful, my daughter wanted a ballon and the ladies gave her two, plus coloring books. I thought that was wonderful. The outlet mall was great aswell, the disney outlet had a lot of nice things, almost everything I wanted in january was there for half the price.
When we got back to the hotel our room was ready. we are on the 4th floor, thinking awesome, we will have a great veiw, to bad its of a tree. we are overlooking the clown pool. its great though, I am here who cares!!! Then we took at nap cause we were so tired. Then went to epcot. There wasnt that many people there, so getting on things was not a problem. Some of the flower displays are still up. So that was great to see. We went on test track and it started to pour. The weather is hot and humid. The car read 101 at one time today. I am not sure what we are doing tomorrow. The weather is suppose to be the same as today. What do you guys think about that welcome home wed? We have never gone to it, and maybe thinking about it just to stay cool!! but if it is dumb then maybe not!!

We have been to Welcome Home Wednesday before. It's free snacks (cracker jacks - my kids love them, and white cheddar cheese popcorn - all prepackaged) and free drinks like lemonade. It's fun to go inside the Atlantic Dance Hall because it is something we wouldn't have done otherwise.

The CMs will let you do pin trading, so if you have kids with you, it's a great opportunity for pin trading (or even if you are into it).

Just know that the whole thing is like a big commercial for DVC - it's a great opportunity to learn about what's coming up and also learn more about DVC and your membership. They do some trivia and give out prizes.

I'd say since you are staying at the Boardwalk *and* it's HOT in the Orlando area and it is AIR CONDITIONED inside the ADH, then I'd go if you're gonna be back at the room anyway. You don't have to rush over to be first in line, but do arrive on time so you can enter the drawings.

last year i didn't go to the welcome home wednesday and they gave out the coolest caps, and i was mad, cuz i love free stuff, especially cool free stuff. i dropped hints to other members who had gone, you know, trying to give me their caps, but they didn't bite. so i am now cool capless, but this july, i'm all over any free stuff they have.

thanks for the heads up on the welcome home wednesdays.. I might just have to go, for free stuff!! today was another hot one. We went to epcot all day, the crowds really werent that bad. We got on mostly everything. so that was good. I really love the electric umbrella. in the soda machines they have apple juice. it was great we all had two cups of that. the food was alright, nothing to bad. tonight I think we are going to go downtown for awhile, if it doesnt rain. Which when I turn around and look its pretty dark outside. Hopefully not a wash out. I will keep you all posted on any good deals I find or new products when we go downtown.......till then see ya

another hot one today!! we went to mk, it was not crowded at all. we got on a lot of rides. my dh do the parent switch, so we went on space mt. well when it was my turn all the lights came on. I could see the whole ride in the light. then they evacuated the building. I am not sure if something happened bad or not. So then my dh and I and our daughter went on (omg I am drawing a blank) the ride that goes around. The blue one. That says now entering tomorrow land!! I got some pics of space mt then. the lights were still on. It was sort of weird, scarey actually! Well after that our daughter was sleeping so we decided on coming back to our room. We went to the welcome home meeting. We did not win any prizes but the hats are pretty cool looking. My sister and neice are flying in from michigan tonight and they are staying with us. So it will be interesting. My sister lived in florida for 10 years so she has friends coming to see her. well time to go eat something before she comes. I think we will have beaches and cream. A ice cream cone sounds yummy to me!!

june 8th today is our last day at akv. we move to ssr. I feel that the one bedroom is really small, compared to bwv. I could not even fit a pack and play by the door. we had to move it by the patio doors. So every morning my daughter would wake up and pull open the curtains. Other then that I love this place. Its awesome to see the animals. Tonight is mk till 2 am again. I dont know if I can do it again. We did it the other night it was great.
