Welcome aboard!

I'm starting this group primarily to organize fish extenders.

Anyone that wants to arrange meets or other activities is welcome to do so in this thread. I personally won't take the lead on those because I'm already doing this cruise with a large group of friends and can only take on so much. :-)

** Please note if you'd like to participate in the FE group. Include:
- Room number
- First names
- Gender
- Age at time of sail (or 'adult')

This is not Fish Extender related. However, there may be others going on this cruise that have other interests. On the 24th of June we dock in Ketchikan. From videos I watched from this year, the R2AK (Race to Alaska) event may be happening at a dock right next door. Basically, the race with wind/human powered boats (unsupported) will leave on the last leg from Victoria, BC, on June 11. The goal is to reach Ketchikan (750 miles) ASAP with just what you have on board. No motors or help of any kind allowed. One guy this year attempted it on a paddleboard. Google R2AK to see how this third race is structured...the site is written in a light, yet realistic way...it's a hoot! By my calculations we may see one or two or more R2AK boats ending the race and ringing the victory bell at the dock next to the Wonder on the 24th. Some come in at night and we might be gone. We might not see any boaters. Just thought this fun event might be something to add to our DCL Alaska adventure agenda...a heads-up.

Anyone interested in joining a non Disney private excursion in Juneau - Rumrunners Whale Watch tour - and sharing in cost?

I have booked a 2.5 hour whale watching trip with Rumrunners in Juneau for myself, daughter 17 and son 13. The trip looks like it has good reviews on Trip Advisor. They have already got back to me and said it will be an afternoon excursion. The trip can accommodate up to six. If anyone would like to join please let me know. If your group is smaller, one or two, I will pay proportionately. So if there are two of you we'd pay for five and I'll pay 3/5 and you pay 2/5 of the $649 for five clients.

The below prices are from the website
Private Charter
Whale Watch* Two and 1/2 Hour
1 to 3 Clients $549
4 Clients $599
5 Clients $649
6 Clients $699

Thanks!
Lisa :)

Looking forward to our first Disney Cruise (first cruise ever for my hubby and kids). We were scheduled for a cruise out of Port Canaveral that got cancelled because of a hurricane so this is our redo!

With so few people actually in this group, I'm going to encourage everyone to join the Facebook group for our cruise.

You'll find MANY more people doing the Fish Extenders, as well as a magnet exchange.

As we approach the first wave of check-in's next week, I'm not sure how much more our page will grow and FE with only 3 cabins won't be nearly as fun. :)
