Just me, again!!

About ID...will PRIOR photo license be OK with former address? Hate to get new ones since DH & I renewed just prior to booking but will if we must, like good MOUSEKETEERS ...

Rose, you don't need to get a new ID. As long as it isn't expired that's all right. They really (and barely do) look at the picture, not the address. After all, people do move. HTH

ALOHA!

ME AGAIN!

Our DLs with old addresses and photos ARE EXPIRED.

We have renewal licenses WITHOUT photos.

NOW do we HAVE to get new photo licences???What a waste of $24 each!!

Thanks again,

~Rose~:earsgirl:

Rose, I'm not sure. Below is from DCL's website. I do know if you have a passport it's usually okay to use it if it's expired (6 months or less). I don't know about driver's licenses, etc. and it really doesn't say such below. I'd call DCL and ask 1-800-951-3532.

"What documentation do I need to bring?

All U.S. and Canadian citizens must travel with proof of citizenship, which is a valid passport, original, state-certified birth certificate and picture identification, or a certified naturalization certificate with a picture identification. Acceptable forms of picture identification are state or provincial driver's license, or federal, state, province or local government photo I.D. card. Guests age 17 and under who are U.S. or Canadian citizens are only required to have proof of citizenship, excluding picture identification. These guidelines are based on U.S. government regulations which are subject to change at any time. It is the Guest's responsibility to check with their Travel Agent, government agencies, embassies or consulates prior to their vacation to ensure that they have proper documentation. Any Guest traveling without proper documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of cruise fare will be issued.

New security guidelines require all adult Guests to show a picture I.D. to embark and disembark the ship in all ports, including Castaway Cay. Please be advised that anyone under the age of 18 wishing to go ashore unaccompanied will be required to have a consenting parent, guardian or other responsible adult with them at the gangway, to provide their signature as authorization."

I called Debbie last night to book our Spa and Palo reservations and she is just wonderful. ... She also mentioned that she was trying to get herself on our cruise but she wouldn't know for sure until 6/1. I mentioned our planned dis meet to her in case she was able to join us.

How cool would that be? She could probably get through the entire cruise and not need to buy herself a drink with the DISers lined up to thank her.....

Hi folks, I'm glad at least SOMEBODY got their docs today. Congrats. Now, forgive my ignorance but who is Debbie and how did she score Palos reservations so soon? I'm married to the only Debbie I know. :smooth: I'm still laboring away in the office with paperwork. When I get home I'll look for docs. Can't wait. Saw the Wonder today on the cam... Cheers Wes:wave:

Wes, Denise was the poster. Debbie works for DCL in Concierge and is the person you call if you have booked Cat. 1, 2 or 3 or the REAS package. Debbie will makes your reservations in Palo and for the REAS the massage in the spa. HTH.

I called DVC and they said our docs shipped out on Tuesday, so I'm hoping they will be there when I get home!

Can't wait!

Wes was so excited he couldn't even type, I told him to take a Valium and lie down!!!!!!

Thank goodness, he was driving me crazy!

:jumping1:

Now i'm in PANIC MODE!:earseek:

How do I get EVERYTHING ready in time??????:scared:

~Rose~:wave2:

OK everybody, you'll get it all done. Take a deep breath and make a list. I've been carrying one in my pocket for 6 months. It's so tattered it may not make it to Thursday 6-17 when we leave for Fla. So much to do and so little time... Cheers, Wes

Aloha!:Pinkbounc

I know my students won't mind....but do ya think their parents will if I just take off the rest of the year to get ready????????:teacher:

:goodvibes Looks like we all have our docs now!!! My kids only have 3 days left of school. I made a sign for our stateroom door. My oldest rolled his eyes and asked if I was really going to put it on our stateroom door. I already have all our toiletries packed and I started to put aside some clothes in our closet. If I knew they wouldn't get all wrinkled, I'd probably put them in our suitcase. I am bringing Downy wrinkle release. It really works on the wrinkles. I better stop babbling now.

:teeth: Judy

Babble away, Judy. This is when it starts getting fun! Every little thing you do, no matter how seemingly trivial, is one step closer to walking up the gangway. Try not to peak too soon, though. As a veteran of many DCL cruises, I can tell you that the more you prepare the less worries you have and the more you can have fun and savor the experience.::yes:: As an aside, Debbie and I have accumulated a few tips that help with the little odds and ends and useful little things that may not occur to you until you're out to sea! We'd be glad to share some of these. Wes.

ALOHA!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc

Yes, Deb & Wes.....please fill us newbies with tips:listen:

Judy...Downy Wrinkle Release? For ship laundry?

Tried to call DCL about our Photo ID on expired DLs and it seems they are out of commission til Monday????

Pretty weird not to be able to get a human on their phone line:scratchin

Enjoy your Memorial Days all!!!

Remember our WW II Veterans (and all the others, too, of course!!!)

~Rose~

Rose,

I plan on using it on anything that gets wrinkled in our luggage. I also want to use it on my skirt or the boys pants, since we'll wear them more than once. I won't have to worry about ironing things. I tried it on my DD's blouse that was all wrinkled, and it worked really well.

Judy
