June 18, 2011 - 11 Night Mediterranean Sailing from Barcelona

Buckingham Palace may not be open to go inside but you will be able to see it from outside. I believe it is only open in mid August until early September sometime to actually go in. Check out the Horse Guards if they are open during your days there, the children may enjoy seeing the horses

Globe Theater if your children are not familiar with Shakespear I would skip this unless you really want to see it. It is a great looking theater but depending on the ages the kids won't get anything out of it

London eye - was fun but we couldn't wait to get out of there. Even with air conditioning it was super hot in those capsules. Bring lots of water. This one one expensive day just for a 30 minute ride.

Thanks for the tips. I agree on the Globe but DD9 learned  about Shakespeare and the Globe in school this year so that is first on her list.

So must try and stop everytime I log on to to laptop going to the DCL page :rotfl2::rotfl2:[/QUOTE]

I'm the same, every time I go onto the internet I log onto DCL website to check and then onto here to see if anyone else has theirs! :surfweb:

I don't think I'll be able to stop until I get it! :)

One month today and we will be landing in Barcelona... :yay:

Thanks for the tips. I agree on the Globe but DD9 learned  about Shakespeare and the Globe in school this year so that is first on her list.

Then it will be fun for her to see.

We were in London in 2007, kids were 12 and 10 at the time

We purchased multi day tube tickets that can also be used on the buses
Your daughter would ride free since she is under age 12

Some of what they enjoyed

Tower of London, British Museum, Harrods, riding the double decker bus. Walking through Hyde Park, Westminster Abbey, Changing of the guard at the Palace

The transport museum was closed when we were there but it if it is open and you have time go. It is really neat

I was suprised at how much they loved the British Museum and it was free admission

Since our cruise isn't too far off, I thought I would put together a list of our cruisers. Its hard to keep track as more people come online. We can add to this list as time goes on.

in the FE group, but then I have heard we will all participate in 1?

Not sure what other folks do, but we always take extra, and generally put something in each FE we see, even if they are not on the list...:goodvibes

Just logged in, still no room assignment.

Hoping for some good pixie dust on this one! We cancelled nice rooms on the Alaska trip to go on the Med...

Excited about the trip, a nice room would top it off nicely!!!:)

For those participating in the FE exchange, since our cutoff date is Sunday, jns (the keeper of the FE list) will be posting a final cabin count so that we can decide whether or not to split the cabins.

If it's at all possible, can everyone in the FE log on Sunday (5/22) to see the total count and cast their vote? I know most of you are anxious to get started (me too!).

Thanks all!

We take extras too. It's all part of the fun. Last time, we shared some of our goodies with the Room Steward!

Hi Everyone!

This is our FIRST ever Disney cruise and I can't believe that I convinced my husband to take one. After a not so good cruise on another line, he swore never again. My dd8 is so excited and has no clue how much fun this will be.

Please add us to your list of FE people. We don't have an assigned cabin yet but I can let you know as soon as I know. We are also celebrating our anniversary too!

We live in the New Orleans area.
