Welcome to our new MUFE members! MUFE stands for Monsters University Fish Extenders! We are glad to have more families join us. Please see post #155 and provide your information as requested there. Please include early or late dining and if you would like to be part of the Roaming Mickey. You could also private message me, and you are welcomed to share names, email address, face book names, favorite characters and where you're from. We are counting down the days! The deadline for sign up is May 10. I will providing everyone with a list by May 12 or as soon as I get it all organized. Also please feel free to make any suggestions to make our MUFE run smoothly!! I just got an email from DCL with some pre cruise info (I think we've received two of these now) but I think it's interesting it mentions Pirate Night, even though I know this part is "generic" I'm sure lots will still be confused and come as Pirates. Here is the snippet from my email:

"Aaargh" you ready for some fun? Pirate Night begins when you don your very own buccaneer bandana and enjoy a delicious pirate-themed dinner. Then, later that night, it's all hands on deck for the Pirates IN the Caribbean party, starring Mickey Mouse and pals."

I meant to post this here like I did on my FB page on 5/1 - we can now all say WE ARE CRUISING TO ALASKA NEXT MONTH!!!

Ps. My DH and DS couldn't stand to wait for Iron Man 3 on the ship so they headed to the showing today. At least it will be "new" for me

Hi all! Here's a report on the MUFE group.

9 cabins as of today, May 3. Cut off date is May 10th.
9- DW, 9-DH, 1-DS (21), 1-DD(18)
7 of 3-8 yr olds 3-DS(3), 4-DD (5,7,7,8)
6 of 9+ 2-DS(9,16), 4-DD(11,11,13,15)
1 - 6month old DD
34 people total

I do hope more of you will decide to join the MUFE!!!!

We haven't had any emails from DCL at all
Like you say, it sounds like they are just sending out generic emails but it's sure to confuse people
Doesn't it sound wonderful to say "we are cruising next month"

Hi all MUFE members

I'm sure you are all working on putting together your FE, so I just wanted to suggest that we will do one family FE that represents your state or country and one individual for each person in stateroom. Any other FE is optional. This is just a SUGGESTION, nothing is mandatory! Lets keep it fun and stressfree! Have fun with your ideas - I most certainly am enjoying this!!!

Forget my post about a Facebook page. There is someone from our town that is also going on a Disney Alaska cruise. We thought it was the same week and she wondered why she didn't see me on the Facebook page. Turns out she is going the week after us.

We should hopefully start getting our "Mickey Mail" by the end of the week or beginning of next week! I got all warm and fuzzy when it dawned on me yesterday we are getting into the 30's for countdown!

A few FE questions from a newbie: are gifts anonymous? Where do you put the gifts for adults if the FE only has pockets for the kids?

It is up to you if you want to tag you gifts with your name. I see that most people do tag their gifts. Hopefully there will be pockets for everyone. Or you could put it in a bag and hang it on the door or ask the cabin steward to put it in the room. Some things I have read here and other places about where to put the fits.
