Thank you for your e-mail describing the inconvenience you experienced
due to flight irregularities when traveling with our Delta Connection
partner, Comair, Chautauqua Airlines and our SkyTeam partner, Air
France. We apologize for the difficulties you encountered.
Your time is valuable, and operating on schedule is equally important to
us. However, in the process of operating scheduled service over many
different routes each day, occasional mechanical malfunctions, adverse
weather, and other interruptions to routine performance plans are
unavoidable. These are situations faced by all airlines and no air
carrier can guarantee that all flights will depart or arrive on
schedule. Nevertheless, we are sorry you were inconvenienced.
We realize the importance of receiving your luggage promptly and in the
same condition as when it was checked into our care. Constant emphasis
is placed on this aspect of our service, and we are making every effort
to bring about improvements. Our people should be responsive when
something like this happens, and I regret that we did not do a very good
job in this case.
As a goodwill gesture, we will mail our $200.00 Transportation Credits
for ( Ms. Alison, Ms. Kathleena, Ms. Kelly, Mr. John, Mrs. Alison )
each passenger which may be used toward future Delta travel and some
travel-related services. Vouchers are valid for one year from the date
of issue and may not be combined. They may be redeemed at any Delta
ticketing facility or authorized
travel agency; however, they are not
currently redeemable online. Please refer to the terms and conditions
for additional information. Also we will send our In-Flight Courtesy
Coupons which may be redeemed for a complimentary cocktail or headset
onboard your next flight with us. Please allow 30 to 60 business days
for the vouchers to reach you.

I was pleasantly surprised to get something back. I really thought it was a lost cause. I guess we can use our vouchers to fly to WDW next June.
