I figured out a magical solution to my water issues...only one thing running at a time. It seems to be fine, if I don't have the dishwasher, washing machine and then flush! HAHAHAHA

The flushing seems to be the problem...aargh..why is it always the grossest one that creates the problems!

I have all of taylors clothes laid out, I basically pulled all of her clothes out of her drawers and then put back the items she COULD NOT wear. Now she can choose what to bring from whats left.

So it's 7am here in california and I have already cleaned out my car, started laundry....ok, I think I am excited and ready to go.

I do have to go to work today, while working at a school is great, I didn't get anything accomplished the last few days. We had too many parties, assemblies, graduation. So I am going in today, distraction free and should be able to finish everything needed to be able to stop stressing.

I can't really find alot of blog info from the 6/6 people. Only the disneyinthemed one...has anyone found any others blogging. I was hoping to get some more perspective.

Back to folding laundry.

No, not a teacher, their accountant. It's a private school. BUT we have to be at everything as administration. It's funny working there, cause the kids that are leaving were saying to me, "you were the best yard duty, lunch lady etc" I am always pointing out that I do more than duty, but thats what I am famous for! Crazy.
I watched the GMA piece too...it made me teary eyed and more excited if you can belive that!
More laundry..aargh! Talk to you all in a bit...

Would love a pointer to the blogs from the cruise at present - would like to see what the weather is like and if it has improved from the first cruise. Think it probably has and keeping fingers crossed for ours.

Just sorted out my little pressies and tomorrow really must start on the packing - am determined I am going to be organised this time - that will be a first for me.

My daughters travel around a lot and have packing down to a fine art not like their mother who tends to push things in just in case I need them.

After reading the problems with the Florence & Pisa Disney excursion woes with long bus ride, 2 hour lunch, no shopping time and the pre-determined no David visit, my family now wants to go the private tour route. I contacted the ICU nurse's privater tour (prestigerent-sp?) so they will take us for 650 Euros (includes the extra 100 euros for pick-up from La Spezia). The Disney excursion was equivalent to 550 Euros but included lunch.

We received some euros from 5/3 Bank and we received $200 disney dollars via Fedex yesterday from our first DVC referral. For those on the DVC fence, please refer one of your new MedHead friends so they get this special gift--maybe we can arrange tosplit the prize money

This weekend I am having my 20th reunion from college (University of Dayton) with receptions last night and tonight. Great to see my roommates from Nashville and Chicago. Flight leaves in just under 3 days.

Continued prayers for passport arrivals in time.

Congrats on the referral. I referred someone who signed up last year, but they didn't give me squat! There's a deal going around now, so if anyone if considering on the ship list john and me and anyone else from our thread as your referrals!

John we are also thinking of canceling this tour. Does the private tour take you to Florence and Pisa? I had read the reviews and they did not seem very favorable.(The Disney Excursion) Please send me some info on this tour...we may be interested in doing this.

Their tour is called the best of Florence and Pisa. We want to see Pisa but do not want to go up the tower but if that is what you want sounds like they can arrange it. We are interested in going to the Academia museum to Michaelangilo's David. I pm's you the website but I will list it hear for others to look at.

Tour length approx 9 hours (suggested 8.00am - 5.00pm according to your ship schedule)

Euro 650.00 for your party of 5 persons

All of our prices are per vehicle/party and NOT per person.



There is an extra cost of Euro 100.00 for pick up at La Spezia port, So Euro 650.00 instead of Euro 550.00



Prices include a pick up and drop off as above mentioned, a private high class, luxury air-conditioned minivan (Mercedes or similar) and an English speaking driver at your disposal for the whole duration of the service, including all taxes tolls and gasoline.

Our prices do not include meals, entrance tickets to museums (but we can book them in advance, to maximize your time and avoid waiting in lines, if the museum/s that you are interested in offer this service, and they still have tickets available for the requested date and time) or other customers expenses.


For any extra hours after the above drop off time the cost is Euro 50.00 per hour that should be paid directly to your driver in cash.

PAYMENT

If you want to reserve our services, please let us know if you prefer to pay in cash to the driver directly, or in advance by credit card.

We will send you a form by e-mail, which includes services, prices, and cancellation policies, to fill in with your credit card details, just to secure your reservation.

You will pay the total amount to the driver directly, at the end of the service (cash only).

2. by credit card

Please note for payment by credit card we will add 4% surcharge.

We will send you a form by e-mail, which includes services, prices, and cancellation policies, to fill in with your credit card details, and an authorization that permits us to charge your credit card (15 days prior your service date) only with the agreed amount as indicated on the form.

CONFIRMATION

As soon as we receive the signed fax we will send you the confirmation voucher. Our services are not confirmed until you receive the confirmation voucher.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For services cancelled, the following charges will apply:

up to 15 days NO penalty

14 to 7 days prior - 50% of cost of services

less than 6 - 2 days prior - 75% of cost of services

24 hours or less or no show - full forfeiture.

ONLY FOR CRUISERS: no penalty if the ship doesn’t dock in port, due to unforeseen circumstances.
