Hi Dylan's mom and Booklover!

Dylans mom I have a son who is two months shy of 15 that will be going on the cruise.

Booklover--what reading materials are you bringing? It looks like we will have tons of time on the buses going to the excursions!

What rooms are yall in, where are you from. . . you know we want to know the usual questions!

Sorry it took a while to get back to this. I am a high school librarian and haven't finished chosing my books for the cruise. We are from northern KY (about 10 miles from Cincinnati,Ohio). I happened to stumble upon this site and then this tread. I have to say it has all be very interesting and very informative. Once I figure out how to get my daughter linked up with everybody else I plan to. We have a couple days left of school so I will have more time next week. My husband and I are both teachers so needless to say we are looking forward to relaxing on this cruise. This is our 4th DC. We would also like to come to the get together at Roy's suite so once I figure out who and how to tell them that will be another thing checked off my list.
Again, this has all been really interesting and I'm having a great time reading back through all the posts!

booklover - I'm the one you need to inform about the DIS meet and greet in the Roy Suite. I am trying to get everyone's cabin number so I can send out a reminder on the 16th. If you don't want your cabin number posted on the boards you can PM me and I will just put it on my list. Also, I need to know how many in your party, just so I have an ideal how many people to plan for.

At about 1:30pm today the "BIG BROWN TRUCK" pulled up in front of my house. I was so excited jumping around shouting, "my documents are here, my documents are here"!. But noooooooo! Instead of a small package marked DCL, he had to large boxes(patio furniture I had ordered). I preceeded to open the door and tell him that was not the package I was looking for. He just said laughed and said hello to Stitch, and took off.

So hopefully I will see the BIG BROWN TRUCK tomorrow.

We were sort of busy @ work today, & almost every time I got on the Dis Board the Nursing Supervisor or Nurse Manager entered the ICU! Gees, it's tough some days when you got to look like you're working.

Anyways, I'm still officially down 38#. The week away in the mountains didn't help, BUT We're back on track 100%! Even avoided the extra food that was brought into work today.

Welcome to anyone new I've missed.

So heres the updated list:
Auntsue1, DVC4US, taysmom, pmm0724, disneyloverlinda, kmitchel, purtypat1, also, ohlawyer2, worktoplay, princessjasmine, vtiffany, pillow, lisatex, silver7, maria hellwig, skallyway, jeff spencer, wvmd and wonder.

For all the newbies, we thought it would be fun for everyone who wants to participate to bring a small trinket for each "dis name" going on this cruise. Something to remember each other by. It could be something to remind each other of you or the area you live etc. We suggested everyone keep it under $3.00 a trinket. So how much you spend is really up to you. Right now we have 20 participants...which impresses me so as the 6/6 cruise has been planning theirs for a while and they only have 17! We're so special or we just love gifts . So at the moment, 19 is the magic number of trinkets needed.

I'm thinking that we can exchange at the meet and greet or the last sea day. Anyone with suggestions post on!


Another meet:
Based on the 6/6 cruisers boarding time, we will all tentatively meet at the port around 11-11:30am Storm the port with our lovely t-shirts on. After checking in and boarding the ship, we plan to meet for lunch around 1:30. I will be unable until cruise day to know which restaurant will be open for lunch. DCL has assured me that one will! Here is the list of participants for that:
