If anyone is not on the list, but would like to be please let me know. My plan is to send out reminders the night before so that's why I need the cabin numbers.

Thanks everyone.

Steph and Brian - thanks so much for all the hard work on the shirts. They look great!

Also, I know this has been asked, but does anyone know what time we are allowed to check in at the port and board on June 16?

Lauren,

I have heard different times. One was 10am check in and another said 1pm check in. So, I have to agree with Steph and Marie and say we will all be watching the 1st 11 day cruise to see what really happens.

Brittany is doing an excursion with David and his parents that leaves at
1:45pm so I would guess we should be able to check in sometime before that so she can board the ship and meet up with the excursion. But who knows with everything being new.

I will try to call concierge on Monday and see if I can get a better answer. If anyone else has any questions let me know and I will see what I can find out.

Okay, thanks everyone. I will certainly be interested to hear how everything goes after the first cruises, especially the first 11 night.

LeiLani-yes, those are the correct cabin numbers. Thanks for offering to call the concierge!

Hi Everyone

Just got off the phone with DCL--they told me you can check in starting at 1PM, you need to be onboard by 4, the lifeboat drill is at 5, and then you can leave the ship ---:confused3 what if you don't get back in time? Aren't there excursions that start at 1:45? This sounds really tight to me on time:scared:

Or maybe I am just a worry wort :rolleyes1

I was also told that if you are going somewhere else first (like ABD or Paris or whatever) and you may not be home when your docs are sent (I was told that they think it will be the regular 10-14 days before leaving) then you need to do the edocs--print out your cruise contract and payment authorization form and take them with you to the port. You will get the generic tags for your luggage there.

I will be interested to see if Concierge says anything different Leilani--perhaps they will have more insider info :thumbsup2

I wonder if they would send the docs to our hotel in London or Paris. That might be to confusing. I have already filled out everything online though. We do not leave until June 8th so may they will arrive before that. I guess I have to watch the other boards to see when they get theirs. I do not think that the tranatlanic cruise has received theirs yet. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. My DD and I are going to see Disney Princesses on Ice today. That should get us in the Disney mood.

I have been reading the May 26th(first 11 day) thread and they have a FAQ's list that a DISer has been calling DCL to try and get answers for and this is what she has posted. Check-in is 10am with boarding at 1pm. Lifeboat drill is at 5:45pm with the ships services suspended between 5:15pm and 6pm. She also has the sail away party at 10pm.(see link below for FAQ's page) Brittany is not due to get back from her excursion until 5:15pm so I hope they are not late or she might miss the lifeboat drill. And what about those individuals that decide to check-in and then leave the ship. They do not have to be back on board until 9pm according to DCL so they would miss the drill also. Makes you wonder!:confused3

I have also read somewhere, but can't remember where, that DCL will be sending out docs early for the Med cruises. We are leaving on June 8th also so I hope they come a little early. I will add this to my list of questions to ask tomorrow.

Carol - hope you guys have fun! I love those ice shows.

I have been listening to my Disney CD's in the car to get in the mood. The girls just laugh at me.:cool1:

Taysmom, So sorry for not responding - we just got back from Orlando. We would love magnets if its not too late. The names are Jodie, Jill, Mike and Cary.

PJ, We are also staying at Hispanos 7 Suiza, and I've heard good things, so I wouldn't worry too much. Were you able to get everything straight?

Disney was mobbed this past week. This is the first time I got tired of being in the parks. We stayed at the Beach Club, and the pool was my favorite part of the entire trip - could have stayed there forever!!!

I'm sure everyone is required to do the saftey drill. I would think that would be required by law. Maybe they do it twice for the people who will be off the ship during that time?

They said the pirate was to similar to Disney’s so I changed it up some. They still said that skull and crossbones with flaming sticks was a Disney trademark. I made a few changes so I could upload a new picture on cafepress and put the pirate back up {until they find it again} and put my order in. I don’t think Disney would have a problem with this as they let people put up door magnets and other decorations that have exact copies of Disney characters. I have also seen pictures of other groups with T-shirts having Mickeys on them.

Brian
pirate: :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Hi Brian,
If you get the t-shirts back up again...please let us know when you plan to do this so we can get an order in....Thanks,

Caroline

I did have one of the cabins wrong from what you gave me before. Are they still 6066/6064 or have they changed? Just let me know.

6066 and 6064 is correct. I did not have it in front of me at the time. Thanks!

I did email them back and let them know that the two rooms will be fine and that we would like to sign up for their transportation but haven't heard back from them yet. The Beach Club is my favorite Disney resort. I love Stormalong Bay. :)

6066 and 6064 is correct. I did not have it in front of me at the time. Thanks!

Okay, I will change back to the correct numbers. That's why I posted them, I knew I would probably have something incorrect. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for planning this get together!!!! I will not know our flight times until the 1st of May. We booked through Disney and they said that was the earliest we could find out. Keep me updated with the time...I know we are flying overnight so we should get there early on the 16th!! I don't know in what shape we will be !! Ha Ha!! But hopefully we will be able to make it!!

Thanks again,
We are counting the days!!!

Just arrived back Saturday at 1 am after driving from WDW departed at 10 am. We lost an hour where the Florida Turnpike met Interstate 75 North due to an accident but smooth sailing from there. After 13 hours, I lost the ability to focus but after a one hour nap with DW at the wheel, I completed the last hour. Belated Happy Easter!

First time going when it was this crowded with Spring Break but we know the parks well and went early, took a break for a swim and went back between 4-6 pm when the park began to thin out. We had a great time with 11 McDonnell's staying in a Grand Villa at Old Key West. There was so much room. Highlights were getting on Soarin & Test Track & Expedition Everest 3 times, my youngest DW finally rode Rockin Roller Coaster, and we saw my nephew lead his high school band down Main Street before the Spectromagic parade.

Welcome home Jim! What a fun time to see your son march on Main Street!

CarolMB and I are meeting for lunch tomorrow :cool1: If only the other person in Houston (cough, also, cough) could come! Barbara, the kids won't miss you for a LONG LONG lunch, right?

Who else is starting to get in panic mode? Or is it excitment mode? :rolleyes1
