Hey all you DLP travellers...did you know that DLP is celebrating it's 15th anniversary this summer. They just had a big celebration at the park on march 31st as that was their opening day.
My friend sent me a link to a page (all in french) but it had a nice video of the event.

I am always up for a good parade. Apparently tinkerbell is spreading "pixie dust" not bubbles once each night at the park.

I just received this email from our hotel in Barcelona, the Hispanos 7 Suiza. It made me a bit confused and uncomfortable. I am starting to wonder if they are reliable or if I should look elsewhere.

"First of all we want to thank you for your interest in our apartments
Hispanos 7 Suiza.

Due to a computer error we have had to change your reserve to two
apartments for three people each one, maintaining the original price of
187.50, although the price of the apartments is of 220 by this time, and
we will try that the apartments are contiguous.

We can propose 2 Junior Suite apartments, each apartment has: 70 meters
square with 2 double bedrooms, one of them with double bed and the other
with twin beds, 2 bathrooms, (one of them with a tube bath and the other
with hydro-massage shower),with easy to regulate air conditioning and
heating, TV with satellite and digital connections, internet
connections, minibar, safe, daily cleaning of apartments, daily
purchasing service, café and restaurant with private rooms, private
garage with parking service, a fully equipped open kitchen and a living
room with a terrace.

Answering your questions, Let me tell you that check in time is at 12,00
noon, and about pick up service, we working with a transfer's Company
named Calipodes.

Port & airport's transfers from 7:00a.m to 9:00p.m rate 100 euros
(payment directly to transfer's driver).

Delay of each hour at the pick ups rate 40 euros.

If you are interested in this kind of service, you have to advise us
your flight details.

Date,
Arrival time
Guest's name

So are they saying that you will pay the same total price for 2 apartments or are they doubling your previous rate? I would argue with them regarding the rate if they are asking you to pay double for 2 apt. it was their error. They should give you a price break.

Ok Medheads...with the help of Also (aka Brian) and the banner he created, I was able to add it to cafepress and create our own page of assorted goodies that can be purchased for the cruise. If anyone has another banner or idea for a shirt logo, please let me know. Here is the link to the site.

I receive no compensation for this, all of the prices are the minimum that cafepress would allow each item to be sold. I can add any other logos, so anyone creative that wants something else just let me know. This eliminates the burden of one person ordering t-shirts for all and having to collect the money. Unfortunately they did not have any "lance" bracelets available.
Additionnally, if anyone knows if there are any copyright issues with this, please advise asap. There are no direct disney references or logos on the banner. It has been changed a little from the one on my (and others) signature page.

Hope you all like it. I have to go back to work next week, so no more messing around. Everyone have a great holiday.

That is what I don't know. I am having a very difficult time undersanding that email. I probably would have understood it better if they had just written it in Spanish! And the other thing is, I think the only reason they emailed me in the first place is because I emailed them asking about transportation. I wonder if they even would have caught it if I didn't email them.

I saw that on the other thread also and that does not make sense to me. I would think that they would just search the bag if the metal decector went off.

Just carry as little as possible. Most of the tours say you can't leave anything on the busses and I don't know if I would want to leave anything in the private cars.?!?

This friday marks 2months until we leave for barcelona......so excited!

Thanks. Now what I still don't understand is what I will find in these apartments when I arrive....double beds? Twin beds? And I can't understand if each apartment has 2 bedrooms or if they meant 2 bedrooms altogether. I also wasn't sure if the transportation was 100 euros per person or for all 5 of us. I will email them back.

Somewhere in this thread I recall some teens inquiring about other teens on the cruise? Was it gou08? Anyway, my daughter Katy (17) will be going. I'm sure she would be happy to hook up with some other teens versus hanging around with her "old" parents.

My sister will be 16 in May. She has already announced that she won't be going to the teen club because she doesn't want to look like a loser since she won't know anyone. I told her no one knows anyone but she wasn't buying it. But, if she could get to know some cruisers I might be able to convince her to go so we can get our night at Palo!

That's shame your sister feels that way. My ds18 won't be on this cruise, but he has many friends that he still stays in contact with from past cruises and they all meet at the teenclub!
