June 16 05 3 day Wonder

Oh, I know my one nephew with the 6 year old boy and the 9 year girl is doing the stimg ray excursion in Nassau. I think he said it leaves a 9:45. We are all down on deck 2. Maybe we can meet somewhere. Will try to find some green ribbons and the magnet thing.

This should be such fun.

Connie

Connie--The 4 of us will be there...I was wondering if this was the only excursion they had for that day doing Stingray City...I booked it but didn't catch the time... ....

Can't wait..

Hi, I really do not know if there is more than one stingray tour. My nephew booked for his family - now I think the other one is going on that one too. I think I will hang out on the ship but who knows. I am here in NJ and they are all in Florida so it is hard to keep up. LOL

Does anyone understand the new dining room times? I thought there were shows in the restaurants - how will that work with different times?

I will talk to nephew over weekend and find out what time he thinks the trip is!!

We'll probaly see your nephew...Thats when ours will be...

Not sure about how the dining times work? :confused3

Got our travel docs yesterday!!!!

Now if we can make it through the end of the school year, we're ready to go!!!

Hi! Just found this thread today. We are going to the World June 10 and doing the June 16 Wonder. We = My Sister, her husband, Mike (my husband), Michael (son) 18, and Chris (friend of his) also 18, and Alex (son) 10. This is our second Wonder cruise. We did the 4 day in 8/01 and loved it. Matter of fact, this trip was my 18 year olds idea. He is graduating high school June 3, so this is his graduation gift - before we pack him off to college. I just hope he has as much fun this time as he did the last time. He was only 15 then (had a friend with him that time too) so they had a blast running around the teen area all day. We only saw him at dinner  .

We are on deck 5 with 2 navigator verandahs and one inside stateroom. We put the big boys across the hall in their own room :cool1: .

We only have 20 more days until we leave for the World!!

Sandy

Hi Sandy, I was just checking to see if there was any activity on thread. I am going with my sister, two nephews and their families - 10 in all. We are on deck 2 in an outside stateroom - forget the numbers right now. I just read someone got their documents - not us . When do I start to worry? Will call TA tomorrow.
We are at late seating - wait listed for first but starting to think late will be better.

Happy to hear you loved the last cruise. We are all excited.

Connie

Hi Connie,
We are on deck 5. The last time we cruised Disney, we received our documents by Fed Ex about 5-6 weeks prior. This time we switched our reservation to AAA because they were offering a $25 credit per state room. For us the $75 total was worth it. I called my TA a couple of days ago and she said the documents had not come in yet (she seemed a little irritated that I was asking) and I am starting to get a little worried. I think I will call her back today. We also have not received our Magical Express luggage tags yet for the World. :confused3

Do you think I am a little over eager  :wizard: ? :Pinkbounc

I think I am more excited than my kids!!!!

17 more days until we leave for the World :cool1:

Sandy

Oh, we had early seating the first time. It was nice, but crowded. We have late seating this time. With early seating, we enjoyed going to the shows after dinner. This time we will try the shows before dinner and see if we like that better. Honestly, I am so excited about being there that I don't care when they feed me :teeth: .

Disney Dreams is not to be missed. It will bring tears to your eyes just like the ships horn does when we leave port. Also, if you want to try the chocolate dessert from Palos that everyone talks about, all you have to do is tell your waiter as you order your dinner and they can get it for you and bring it to the other restaurants.

Hi Sandy, I also booked with AAA. I get the impression the TA is kind of annoyed when I call too. She is getting a good commission for little work. I was told we get a $50 credit on each stateroom so I would check if I were you. I also, have an ad saying $50 on the 3 and 4 night and 100 on the 7 night. She is off today so will call in the morning to check for documents and make certain it is $50/

Thanks for all the other info. I think we will skip Palo's since it is only 3 nights and also we rarely see each other. In fact, I have never met one nephews wife or kids.
I just hope it all works out. None of them ever go anywhere so they are so happy about this treat. Soon we will be there!!

Hello Everyone: I haven't checked the thread in a while. Just wondering if anyone is up to getting together for an "official DIS meet" on the Wonder. When we were on the Magic last fall, the DISers met at 3 p.m. after boarding, making ressies, and before the mandatory life boat drill. We met at the nonsmoking bar on deck 3 betwteen the atrium and Parrot Cay. Help! I can't remember the name of that bar and this will be DCL cruise #5 for me! (I have to blame my memory loss on the Lipitor not my age!!)

I'm traveling with my best friend, Sue, and her daughter (my goddaughter), Alyssa. Alyssa is 8 years old, blonde hair, glasses and she has Down Syndrome. I've already signed her up for the kids club.

I bought the lime green DIS pins on wdwinfo. Sue, Alyssa and I will be wearing them. We are in a secret porthole stateroom on deck 5 forward.

By the way, I booked our cruise through DVC and haven't received our cruise docs. I may have to download them on the DCL website.

Looking forward to June 16. Anyone staying at the Hyatt MCO the night before?

Everyone have a safe trip to the Wonder.

Jan

I'm the one who posted about getting docs. We just got them Fri 5/20 so not too long ago... Yikes! I just realized that is only 4 weeks before we set sail!!! I would start being a pest with the TA.

We're getting pretty excited!!!!

Mary

Our documents came in yesterday (5/24). I am going to pick them up today. I hope the stateroom credit is $50. That would be great. I'll have to check on that.

16 more days until we leave for the World - 22 days until the Wonder!!

Sandy

Hello! We got our docs on Monday. Getting close now.

We'd be happy to meet up Jan. It is me, my husband, 2 boys ages 12 & 8. I do know we will be playing bingo every night with my 8 yr old! It is his favorite thing on the ship. So if anyone else is playing, let us know.

Hi, My Documents are in too - AAA called just as I was about to. Will pick them up later and let you know about the $50.

Hard to say if I can meet up now. I am traveling with 9 and they are all in Florida so things are a bit confused but I will keep checking and if there is a spot will try to be there. Not sure if my nephews have registered their kids yet - sure hope so. I assume if they do not like it do not have to go.

Oh, we are staying at the Radisson the day before - so excited.

Connie

Just got back from AAA with my documents - now it seems official - hooray!

Sandy, told you get a $50 credit for outside and $25 credit for inside so you should get $125. Also, got a very nice picture folder for each stateroom.

Connie

Haven't got our travel docs yet.. :confused3
I'm sure we'll get them within the next week....

I picked up my docs on Friday from UPS for the June 16th Wonder. We're leaving for the WDW in 9 days!
Doing the single digit dance
