My advice if you are thinking about the Turkey 12 Cruise is to try to book as early as possible as the prices on that holiday cruise will only continue to jump in price. I was looking at next summer's 7-day Fantasy cruise prices (just for the heck of it) and they are very pricey right now -- many of them with verandahs are over 10K! yikes! You probably know this, but remember that you have, I think, until early September of next year to cancel (unless, that is, you'd be booking concierge and different rules apply)! Good luck and best wishes with whatever you decide.

I got my Mom the sweatshirt with Minnie Mouse depicted as the Statue of Liberty. I bought it at the Disney store outlet in Paramus, NJ.

Thanks for the tip about the Minnie Statue plush. So I went back on the Disney Store online and searched under "New York" and some more cute things popped up! Ornaments (the minnie statue of liberty is very cute!), plush toys of more characters, bags, shirts etc..

I didn't realize the Paramus location sold the NYC stuff. My boyfriend lives about 5 minutes from Paramus. I'll have to check it out!

If you would like me to email you the list in Excel format - include your email address. I will post updates monthly until the final payment date, then I will try to update the google doc page with every addition.

Please also tell me your thoughts on when to close the list - the choices are 30 days or 60 days. If the group gets too large (we need to define that as well at some point) do you want it broken into sections? If so, how many cabins in each group?

I will be starting school again just after Labor Day, and may not be able to update the list as often as I would like - if I do NOT answer your PM within a week - please resend it...I may loose it in the sauce of my online course emails. I do have sorts set up in Outlook - but one does miss things occosionly.

We are doing our fish extender exchange in 2.5 weeks. If it goes well, we may be in for this cruise as well. The list for the cruise is over 40 cabins, 125 people.......that a lot of work and gifts....and money too.

On my last cruise we decided to break into two groups of around 25 cabins and that was much more manageable. The person who was in charge of the entire FE on that cruise was the best person for the job, though it caused her some heart-ache as some people were quite exacting and demanding as to their expectations. I'm not sure about participating in such a short cruise that will be only with my husband (not the kids) so will wait awhile to decide.

In 2009 the majority of our FE were adults. We got little airplane liquor bottles, a mixology book for 'dummies', people made picture frames & albums, and we also got a flash drive of Disney music. It was great!
