What is a fish extender? What do you do with them?

A Fish Extender is kinda like a small shoe holder you hang on a mounted metal fish outside your door. Everyone day/night people in our group will put little gifts in it for your family. Some people make their own and some by them from ebay. If you check out the main forum there are tons of pictures and even directions on how to make them.

We participated on our last cruise and even though we don't have any kids we still really enjoyed getting fish mail everyday.

People do all different things...pirate tatoos, glow necklaces, magnets, candy. It is so fun to come back to your stateroom and have little goodies.

Some people also bring things that their hometown is known for.

What to join our gift exchange group??? No pressure but we would love to have you. Let me know ASAP though so everyone knows if we have additions to our group.

Just a reminder, has everyone gotten a dry erase board for their doors??? It is such a great way to leave messages either for families or friends. The DISers on our last cruise lest messages all the time. It was great way to meet up with people or even "lost" family members for that matter!!!

Thanks! DH and I had the same experience of being totally hooked after our first cruise 2 years ago (same Mexican Riviera ports, different cruise line). We immediately came home and starting planning another cruise with our boys this time. I've heard nothing but great things about DCL.

DCL should come with a warning on how addicting it is...I took one little 4 day cruise in 2005 and now I am hooked. I have been on a 7 day Eastern in Nov, going on this one and already have a 7 day Western booked for this Nov.

Dry camping is camping in an RV without any utility hook-ups. My DIL have an RV and I have recently learned its the only way to "camp"
