It's getting hard to stay caught up with our board there is sooo much activity Welcome to everybody new! It seems like we add a few every time I log on. How exciting!

Brooklyn awesome news on DD's jobs! I know the pink laptop you are talking about DD17 saw it yesterday and was looking very longingly at it. I told her that's what jobs are for (she has recently gotten her first P.T. job). She gave me the perfect eyeroll as if to say "like you really expect me to pay for it". I just smiled and kept on walking!

Let us know the updated count on F.E. gifts. I did some shopping over the weekend but what we are doing is quick and easy to add to as extra's join in will be no issue.

Thanks for the Magic pictures. As a native Californian it is exciting to have her here but nothing beats Port C. They have done such a wonderful job there but I also know that as soon as I see her on the 15th, my heart will be in my throat whether she is @ P.C. or P of L.A.!

I just ordered a fish extender from Ebay, so we're in!! Once you have the final numbers, please post them, so I can shop 'til I drop! I think I've read that the distribution is before the early dinner? I'll follow whatever directions you give.

Sorry I have not posted since March. I would like to be included in the gift exchange and any meet and greets you have organized. I see I missed out on the Palo brunch but can you let me know what other things you have planned.
On our last cruise we got together right after the life boat drill and exchanged little gifts from our part of the country(magnets, postcards, etc). It was pretty nice since there were a lot of International cruisers. Do you have a list of cabins yet that will have fish extenders?

As for the gift exchange we are slitting everyone up on different nights. They do not need to be delivered by any special time. Whatever works for you on that day.

Awesome on getting upgraded. No upgrades here but I have a Secret Porthole Room so I am happy with that!

I am sure camp rock will be shown, as for WallE early, I doubt it. They seem to be stick to the rules. Pirates 3 premiered on our last cruise. They showed it on midnight the night it was premiering.

Lucky!!!! Our docs came last week and we are still a 10. Must be because this is your 3rd cruise. This will be our first.

I have been calling every other day trying to get upgraded at least to another deck.

It would have been a lot cheaper, therefore us able to get a higher cat stateroom if we went out of Florida but for our first cruise I thought it would be fun doing this cruise.

I have been calling every other day trying to get upgraded at least to another deck.

It would have been a lot cheaper, therefore us able to get a higher cat stateroom if we went out of Florida but for our first cruise I thought it would be fun doing this cruise.

Yes but then you would have had to pay to pay for plane tickets. When we were pricing it out it would have cost us the same to go out of FL buying 4 plane tickets there.

Congrats on your upgrade! We got upgraded our last cruise but not this one We're going to ask when we get there but if anyone has any suggestions or tips on how to get bumped up before that we'd love to know. We'd be happy with any sort of natural light in the room

For us we get airline discounts, so the flight is almost free and they also have airline disounts for DCL.

6am is alittle early for me, I want to be able to last the whole day.

Totally understand about the cost of airfare~ DM has to pay for tickets from HNL which weren't cheap with Aloha and ATA going belly up so traveling another 3000+ miles wasn't an option; even with discounts since stand by travel is iffy at best during the summer!
We would like to do the MCO out of Port C but think we'll wait a couple of years or maybe splurge for the Med. Cruise.
This is our 1st DCL as well so no upgrades but we're happy with what we got!

My Nov cruise with airfare, hotel and Cat 6 is about the same price as my Cat 12 for this one, but it's worth being on the cruise with you guys .

I agree...just being on the cruise will be a blast. We didn't plan on spending too much time in the cabin anyway.

Yep, that's the person who made ours. She does a really good job. I am actually sailing with her in November. Which one did you get? I got the agua one. I love it.

Hi Everyone.... I know this is but I just wanted to share some good news..

DD booked 2 jobs for today! We are soooo excited. One is for Disney Pool Toys or something and another is for a PSA. It has been a few months since she has worked so she is super excited. The strike really slowed things down and since then she has been losing faith. It is finally nice that her hard work is once again paying off!

The funny thing is that when I was buying my new computer she was asking me to buy her this $2,000 pink laptop. I told her when you book a job you can buy it yourself! Well a few days later she books 2 jobs...now guess what she is asking for!?!?!? Too bad these 2 jobs will not pay enough to buy the computer and what would a 6 year old do with a $2,000 laptop anyway!!! Now I have to figure out a way out of this one!!! Silly me was thinking that by the time she booked a job she would have forgotten about the laptop.
