Good morning everyone!

It is a B E A utiful day her in Vegas and the wind has finally subsided (thank goodness). Hope you all enjoy good weather over the weekend too. Me and my Passporter are headed out to the ball field for DS's game soon and then to the pool for DD's swim meet but had to get my dose of caffine and DIS boards first! . Picked up my first batch of fish extender goodies yesterday ...it's as much fun as Christmas shopping .

The weather is beautiful here is SoCal too! I love it!!!

DD has an audition in LA this morning and then we are heading to Universal Studios. It should be a fun day!

What part of So. Cal do you live in? My friend has children that model & act and is always heading to LA as that is where the work is. Best wishes on the audition. We live 15 miles east of San Diego and it is supposed to get into th 90's this weekend. DH has the solar on so hopefully the pool will be warm enough for DS4 & I to get in. I told him after lunch and he keeps asking for me to just make it so we can get in Have a great day.

Oh, Sorcerer Mom DD e-mailed your DD. She also got another post from another girl so along with our new member's brother (sorry I forgot to get your screen name prior to starting this) they will have a feeling of connection prior to leaving!

We live in Murrieta. We used to live down in SD. We love it up here.

It is supposed to be 95 at Universal Studios! The girls are so happy! I turned the pool heater on today so tomorrow we can go swimming. I am a bit of a wimp. I only like warm water!!!

Oh fun. Are your friends children with Jet Set? That is the big agency down in SD.

Thanks for the good wishes for the audition. Not even sure exactly what it is for....all it said was ABC Promo. Who knows?

Sorcerer Mom - Yes it is so fun shopping for the Fish Extender Gifts!!!! It is so fun! I also wanted to ask if you requested seating alone or requested tablemates for dinner? I started this threat last night.... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=24737595&posted=1#post24737595 I am worried with it being so late that i do not want tablemates that show up any later nad delay our dinner. It is already so late at 8:30 (but I am determined to get that rotation ). I also do not want to be left with completly out of control children. I like kids BUT I also think they need to behave. Ugh!!!! I just don't know what to do.

Some people do one bigger gift for the stateroom, some do a gift for the adults in a room and something different for the kids, some people do something for each person. It is all up to you. No rules at all!

I am creating a roster to send to everyone. I am hoping to send it to everyone at about a month out. It would be nice to have our list grow some more!!! In just the past few days we went from 4 staterooms to 7 and now you guys!!!

Can you please PM me the people's names in each stateroom and the children's ages. Also let me know if you would like to do gifts on the same night as your sister or different and if there is a night in particular that you would like to do.

Don't know what PM stands for but there are 4 adults & 3 kids (2 girls; 1 is almost 8 and a 4 year old and 1 boy who is 6). I'll email you the other info.
My mom will participate as well so we'll have 9 staterooms participating but 10 "families". It doesn't matter to me; I kinda like the idea of "surprises" but am willing to do whatever everyone else wants to do. My son loves pirates but I think someone else also likes them. Since there are more people involved, there may be some overlap.

BTW - My bookstores didn't have the Passporter so I ordered it. Did buy the Birnbaum Guide to Disney Cruises - not very good.

Yes, we have 2 rooms. My husband can't join us so it will be me, my mom, my son and my niece in a Cat 4 and my sister, her husband and her daughter in another room.

Maybe I can hang on on the fish and get a magnet holder and hang the other on our door. Do you think that would work? Or maybe on the door, I'll figure it out. We've got 5 pockets because in asian societies, the #4 is bad luck. Old wives tale I know!

I don't think I'll be assigning names on the pockets but it will be pretty easy to figure out. Our room will have a princess and a pirate theme and the other room will have a princess theme.

BTW - is it as hot where you are as it is here? We live in Manhattan Beach which is near LAX and on the coast and it's 87 degrees already! That is so unusual for us!
Heard it was 100 degrees in Anaheim yesterday but the temps should fall by 30 degrees by Wednesday!

We live in a really hot climate but it has been taking some time each day to warm up. We are swimming today! My DD just got back from inviting our neighbor over. It should be a fun day!!!

I LOVE the hot weather, I am not looking forward to another drop in temps!!!

See...this where I'm a little confused. There are 2 ports; the port of Long Beach and the port of Los Angeles. Long Beach Port is in Long Beach where the Queen Mary is and where Carnival departs. Los Angeles Port is in San Pedro where Royal Caribbean departs.
If you have your documents, does it have the exact name of the port or an address? The ports are about 20-25 minutes from each other; over a bridge. Makes a difference as we just came back from RCCL's Vision 2 weeks ago and initially went to the Long Beach pier instead of the Los Angeles pier so we got on board an hour later than I wanted to

I would think the magnets might not hold them FE if something heavier is inside. However, you might use of the door hangers (like you use to hang a shoe holder) and put it on that. Just an idea

I envy your warm weather....we had a group hike scheduled for today but had to cancel because it was sooo cold
