June 14-15 Good to Go Days?

I just opened the reservation calendar planning to grab a park reservation for today. I was surprised to see that both today and tomorrow (June 14-15) are Good to Go days at all four parks. One of the popular crowd calendars claim it is an 8 at all four parks.

Isn't this odd?

That surprised me as well. I might decide to head over tomorrow.

Take a look at today's wait times. The parks aren't anywhere near an '8'.

I noticed wait times are low all around. Even Universal is kind of empty, is it normally like this? I thought June as usually a high crowd month. Maybe I should done my trip in October in June instead.

We popped into MK last night but didn't arrive until about 8 pm on our way home from another commitment. Main Street was getting busy with people staking out their spot for fireworks. Jungle Cruise was maybe 15 minutes wait, after which we walked back to Fantasyland to watch fireworks from near the carousel and Village Haus (love that location).

Afterwards we walked on Haunted Mansion, then rushed to Tiana's Bayou to try to make it before 10 pm closing time. It was our first time riding since the Splash Mountain makeover (much preferred Splash!). We barely made it - they closed the entrance just after we crossed in. We walked on and were placed in a log all to ourselves with one couple on a separate log ahead of us and one single guy on the log behind.

It's not like it was empty - the ferry back to TTC was jammed shoulder to shoulder on both levels. But it was great fun to get those few rides and fireworks done in such a short time.

The heat and humidity has been pretty brutal. You should enjoy better weather in October, so hope you have reasonable crowd levels as well. And the crowds last week felt quite high to me. Disney Springs was jammed Thursday evening. The first three levels of the parking garage were full, with only a few spaces left on level 4. I've never seen that on a weekday evening before, Walking around was really packed.
