Barbara,
I've filled out our docs the day after I got them just because I like to have everything done as early as I can. It really doesn't take that long unless you are standing behind someone in line at the terminal lol. It will definitely give you something to do on your long flight!!!

Is your dh doing any scuba excursions? If he's already certified, he may find the diving at TL a little "simple" for lack of a better word.

I've starting packing some. I've had clothes for me ready for a while. Now, I have to choose which ones to actually take! I'm trying to get all the little things like shampoo, sunscreen, tums, loads of dramamine etc. together. Could I just take the whole house with me, it would be a lot easier!!!

Barbara, I think with all the dates we talked about I might have confused everyone. Bill's birthday is May 31. I believe Hometech99 and Findingnemofan have their anniversary on May 31.

So Happy Birthday to Bill and Happy Anniversary to HT and Nemo!!And also through Nala, a Happy Birthday to her Dad on May 31!!!

Enjoy the Weekend!!! Lorie

Oops! Should have gone back to read the dates on those posts...

Happy, happy to everyone celebrating soon who is on our cruise!

Thanks for the docs info., Lorie. Yes, dh is a long time certified diver, but will not go on a dive this trip...takes away from family excursion time and that's the purpose of our trip. So, he may just do Typhoon for the fun of it.

Nala - You are getting married next Saturday, then comes your honeymoon on DCL!!!

Happy planning & packing everyone, back to work here!

Barbara

Nala, it seems like you have a very eventful week!!

Of course, the most important is that you hit the single digit dance!!!:cheer2:

Oh yeah, and that thing on Sat. too!! :bride: :groom: I'm sure there will be lots of hugs  and kisses :love2: puckerup:

or maybe that's a little "spacey" :space:

Here's a big hug from all of us! :grouphug:

Can you tell I have a little extra time on my hands this morning!:bored:

In trying to post this morning, I have discovered that you can only have so many pictures per post (that is why I did them all seperate-I did a longer one and I couldn't post!). Also, you can only post once in 60 sec.

When we do meet how are we going to recognize each other? Lime green mickey heads? One red shoe?:scratchin

I kind of like the one red shoe idea!!!

Actually, I think most people just try to get a lime green ribbon and tie it around their dh's neck......I mean tie it on whatever carry-on you have. ::yes::

Are we still on for 11:15 in the lounge area next to the model of the ship? I hope so, it will be fun to finally see everyone!!!

I know not everyone will be there by 11:15, so maybe we should plan to meet later as well.

Any ideas? Do we want to meet somewhere for the sail away? maybe after safety drill?

Barbara, did I mention I read that people did use bubbles at the sail away? I thought I remember you asking about that.

I saw on one of the sites that we will be using the main dock at St. Thomas so we won't have to tender in. I haven't got anything on St. Martin yet.

I finally was able to decide on what clothes to bring, at least for me. My stuff is all ready to pack up. I don't want to quite yet so that it doesn't get wrinkled.

Lorie

I envy you Lorie. I'm still trying to find clothes for the cruise. Couldn't fit into my long black dress from a couple of years ago.
I did buy individual Shout wipes (mainly for the DS's:rolleyes: ), the over the door shoe thingy and a laundry bag yesterday at Target. Narrowing down my list. I still need to get an extension cord to plug in my hairdryer (definitely taking my own this time).

11:15 sounds good to me! Not sure if I'll be able to meet later on the ship that day though. Have to play it by ear.

Cathy:wave2:

There are new navigators for the Eastern on Dave's site if you've got a little time to browse.

Is Shrek 2 done by pixar? And isn't pixar a branch of disney? Would that by chance be on the cruise?

Lorie

I see that many of our countdown clocks have reached the single digits. It is June 2 and we cruise on the 12, so I guess technically we have to wait until midnight to do the Single digit dance!!!!

I'm dancin' now. Yee Haa:cool1: :cheer2: :thewave:

I just looked at the new navigators on Dave's website. Lookin good. I'd be surprised if they don't show Shrek 2.

Cathy

YIPPEE, we are all almost "officially" to the single digits!

Been busy, busy, busy here - but wanted to say :wave2: ::yes::  !!!

See ya' for a meet in the lounge at stated time!

Your DIS/DCL friend,

Barbara (who did a big parent workshop on Tuesday, later Drs. appt., then dance recital for dd, then school field trip with dd today - chartered bus to Olivera St. in L.A., Amtrak from Union Station to Santa Ana to the little zoo, chartered bus back to school...all earned by the dd's third grade class).

I can't wait to HAVE A KONK KOOLER on the SHIP!!!

Know you all are just as busy, have fun!!!

Barbara:boat: :rolleyes1 :drinking1

We plan to be at the port as soon as it opens - 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (I'll have to look back at other posts for a time, anyone know?)

Dh will need to return our rental car and take a taxi back to port. Kids and I will stay in line at the port.

Anyway, just wondering how we will meet if we are all in line for the ship?!!!

Thanks you veteran DCL cruisers!

Barbara ;) PS I hope they have Shrek!

Wahoo!!! Finally doing the single digit dance!!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Well, to meet I bet once we are all checked in, someone in each of the groups can keep our place and maybe trade off. That's what we did last year while we explored the terminal. Maybe we'll all be early birds that they won't let in!!!

Barbara, you are way too busy!!! I've got one more day of school, then the HS graduation, and one lonely teacher's meeting on Monday!!! My grades are all in, and I have videos for the few who have class tomorrow!!
