May 31 is dh-Bill's birthday. Our anniv. Is June 20 or June 21, it depends on how you look at it!! We were married on the 20 and the Pastor signed the date as June 21. Dh says that this is his loop hole should he ever need it!!

Barbara, I'll ask dh what to do for the guys. I think I've posted that I am technology challenged!

Anybody going to bring/send a few gifts for their loved ones on the DCL? I am the queen of celebrations and have gotten our kids some items to place in our stateroom the first day. Now, I'm just a little worried about the precious space they will take. It's really not alot, but these do take space. I may contact Shirley at the Perfect Gift.

Also, my dh will be posting here soon, he's getting it setup now as we speak!

Past Disney Cruisers (& DIS friends):

Did you bring a lot of over-the-counter meds. just in case? Are these readily available at the gift shop if needed?

I have quite a few travel sizes, but already it's more than I'd like. It is important to dh and I, however, to have most things for our children just to be safe.

Any thoughts, advice?

OK, another packing question. How much suntan lotion are you bringing for you and yours?

I bought four of the Coppertone Sport SPF 45 - 8 oz. Each comes with the clip trial sizes too.

Oh, this reminded me that I need to buy the spray suntan lotion too as dd plans to have her crown braided.

We're a family of four and plan to be in the sun ALOT!

Good Evening, yes it is. I have been enjoying konk koolers, so I may not be the top speller tonight!!

Konk Kooler, you ask? Well this is a favorite drink on DCL. We have the recipe and make it whenever possible!

I think I'm doing ok so far!!

I was so excited to see another group on the cruise. And I thought it was so cool that this new group was from CA!!!! In my present state, I laughed out when I realized it was you!!!!!


I hope you get your tech problem worked out, I get confused enough as it is!!!!

Sorry, Andrew missed the internet chat. We're getting new carpet and have been clean out everything in preparation. He'[ll have to try next time.

Barbara,

I made my dh promise not to send things this year to the room because we've really been working hard to save for the trip.

Last year, he sneaked by me and sent me the Mickey Mouse cultured pearl necklace. I love it! In fact, the pendant comes off and I wear it on a different chain almost everyday.

He also sent the DCL boys sport watch to Andrew. He really liked it.

Of course, I had planned to get something on board for Bill, but his arrived alot earlier!

OMgosh, what gifts! Sounds wonderful, you have a good dh! You guys have been on many cruises, so I agree! My stuff for the kids is little. What do you do when you get hooked, I'm saying to myself, we can't afford to keep cruising DCL over and over, but man is it fun just planning, and wait until the cruise!

Anyway, take care, & go drink another Konk Kooler for me! Dh said we're going to have a lot of fun with you guys!!!

If any of you skipped pages, I have a list for my over the door shoe holder (which stays completely loaded at all times).

One thing some people not think of is allergy or cold med. last year, my nephew was all stuffed up because of the AC, Auntie Lorie to the rescue with sudafed.

My niece squirted ketchup down the front of her brand new white shirt. Auntie Lorie to the rescue with the oxy-clean wipes!

We travel quite a bit. Nothing very fancy except our Disney trips, so I've learned to be prepared.

Did you know that ginger can help sea sickness? I have some in my shoe holder.



Now, I hope anyone who's reading doesn't think I'm tooting my own horn. Please remember, I've been treated to KK tonight so I'm a bit chatty. I worked in the yard all day and I really should go to bed!!!

We bought a Jansport backpack for the trip (needed a new one)and a travel purse for me online today.

Kids and dh are swimming, it's another very hot day in California, very unusual weather for May.

I should be doing work for work, but I'm procrastinating. Best get to it.
