Hello everyone.
My family, including DH, DS10 and DS14 will be cruising with you on June 12. I've tried to catch up on the posts but after about page 3 everything started blurring together. Of course, that could be because it's 10:15 at night. (I'm an early riser).
We will be traveling with DH's brother and family which includes DD18 (graduating high school this year), DS14 and DD11.

I'm traveling with my 18 year old neice who will have also just graduated. Maybe we can get our grads together. 18 is pretty in between and I'm afraid I may get boring for her!

Just got the call from my TA that the docs arrived! I'll probably go to pick them up tomorrow!

I think we are going to try to get a group meet sometime during the first day so that people from the boards can meet.

Some of us are going to try to hook up early at the model of the ship before boarding. I know that some may not be able to make it that early, so we'll get something else going too.

Nala, I'm jealous. LOL! I'm trying to be patient!!

It seems like there are a number of 12-15 yr. old boys on this cruise!! We've got to get them hooked up!

Right after I posted, I was on the discussion board, and I heard a truck-like sound, I looked over to see a brown truck right outside my window, I quickly walked to the door just as the UPS man was walking to it...........and without jumping up and down, I took that magical package out of his hand!!!

Now, I need to have a few moments with my docs!!!

I hope all of yours start showing up too!!

We got our docs today too.

Panthergirl: It will be nice for my niece to have someone to hang around with. She and her mother are pretty tight though. I know she's excited about being old enough to go the spa this time around.

Musicgirl: You can bet I'll be there at 10:30!! Would like to meet everyone. Not sure if rest of family will participate. I'll at least get them over to introduce them. Maybe we can all sit together in line while waiting to board.

So, where is everyone from? Just by glancing I've seen NY, PA and I thought I saw TN (that might have been from another post) and West Coast.
Also what excursions are you doing? We're doing our own thing on St. Maarten (haven't quite decided what yet). On St. Thomas, we're doing DCL Trunk Bay Snorkel excursion.

Hi Cathy,

We may be on your St. Thomas trip, we're doing the 5-Star St. John at Trunk Bay. Is this the one you are going on? We are a family of four - dh, ds-age 13, & dd age 9.

We're going on the Anguilla Dolphin swim (special for dd who has always loved and studied dolphins), then doing the banana boat and parasailing at CC.

So happy you received your docs! I think they arrived first to the east coast. We're in Calif.

Got our docs today!!!!! I'm getting more and more excited!!! I also have already read the new PassPorter cover to cover and learned a few things I didn't know from our first cruise with Disney.

I, too, am working on reading the Passporter cover to cover and I discovered we are in an "undesirable" stateroom-one right across from the laundry room! Oh well, I'm sure it won't make that much of a difference, just an unlucky coincidence!

I think we are in a room too, that is considered noisy, but I really don't think it will be a big deal. The only difference is that we had a veranda last time and went with delux standard this time.

I have the field guide. I really don't think you need the expensive bound one. There are some really worksheets in the field guide that you can just copy and use that way.

On our last cruise, we did not know half of what we know going into it this time. We still count it as our best vacation EVER. I'm trying hard not to over plan so I can still relax and not feel like I'm missing something.

Our good news:

We're also booked on the CA to FL repositioning cruise for our same stateroom at just a few hundred more than this 7 day cruise (Cat. 9). Unbelievable! I was the CM's first ressie for a western DCL today. It was MAGICAL!!!

No docs for us yet though.

Testing my countdown timers!

PS Received our passports today, only took 33 days. Now, I feel better. We're really getting set.

How is the trip planning going for everyone? Dh's backpack came and it is great for travel. Will last us years.

Went shopping today for DS' s cruise clothes. They are always in jeans and T-shirts. Needed to get some collared shirts and khakis. I might get to shop for me tomorrow for Mother's Day!
