So I have the count down on my phone and I'm dying to be on the cruise already

Is it to early to start working on making FEs?

Everyone does something different for the FE exchange. First thing you would need to bring is a fish extender. This usually takes the shape of a cloth 'hanging bag' that goes over the metal fish hanging on the wall outside of your cabin door. If you Google 'fish extender', you will see some examples. You can make your own or order one from a place like Etsy.

Do most people make a multi-pocketed fish extenders? That's what I'm seeing online. If we're doing gifts for the family, 1 pocket/bag would be enough, right?

My Disney Boys, I was trying to wait on cabin numbers until the list was complete before requesting cabin numbers. Mommy Jen, yes, people had agreed on about 20 participants. I think we're up to 16 or 17 right now.

So this brings up a good point. We're after final payment, and I'm not sure how many new people will be coming to this thread. Do we want to set a deadline for participating in the FE? If so, when should this deadline be? I'm thinking maybe end of April? That would give everyone about 6 weeks before the cruise to get their gifts together.

Suggestions?

End of April gives people about 6 weeks to get there things together. Sounds like plenty to me! I'm not sure that many more will join the thread from now until then though.

So sorry, but I need to remove my family from the FE list. We JUST bought a new house, we close a week before we cruise AND...now we need to buy things like light fixtures and window treatments instead of Fish Extender gifts( Have fun!!
