June 1, 2015 Wonder to Alaska

Love how everyone tries to have their next cruise in the works before that current dose of pixie dust wears off! :thumbsup2

I was very concerned about taking my DS on my own to Alaska but I figured a Disney cruise is a way to go. Instead of WDW we are going on this cruise. y son will be going to WDW for the 10th time in September so I am ok with missing it next year. I am going to join you all my DS who will be 5 and me. This will be our 2nd Disney cruise , our first one is on the dream is in 2 weeks. I already know which excursion to do with my train obsessed son. You guys are going to get sick of me because I will be asking so many questions with my 1st starting now. I have points with southwest and I also have a few points with my SPG AMEX card that can be used with flights. So I am thinking of flying into Seattle on southwest on points and flying back from Vancouver at the end. I am wondering how to get to Seattle to the ship.

I'm flying into Seattle this year for the repositioning cruise in September. My plan is to stay overnight in Seattle and take Amtrak to Vancouver. I know there are other options, like renting a car or taking QuickShuttle.
Still not sure about next year!

Hi all! We just booked June 1, 2015 on the Wonder today!

This will be our very first Disney Cruise and our very first trip to Alaska! I am beyond excited! It will be DH and I and our three kids (our boys will be 12 and 8 and our little girl will be 2, at the time). We're going to WDW in October, so maybe that will keep my mind occupied for a while :).

Hello everyone. We were on the Fantasy last week (4/5-4/12) and booked this cruise. We've done a cruise over our daughter's spring break the last couple of years but since our spring break falls on Easter next year, the prices were just too much. So, we decided to change it up and go somewhere new.

This will be our 9th cruise, second on the Wonder, first time to Alaska. We've been on all four ships. We are from Atlanta.

Alex (DH) - alexturner74
Jessica (DW) - MagicFan75
Rosalynn (DD) 8 at time of the cruise
Tristan (DS) 5 at time of the cruise

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Alex

Hey Everyone! This is my first Alaska cruise. I did the 4 day Bahamas cruise on the Dream in February of 2013 so I'm looking forward to this. I'm probably traveling solo (was with my sister on the last cruise). I met some fabulous DIS peeps on the last cruise and we still talk nearly every day.

Welcome aboard to all those that have recently joined our thread!!! Hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend!! :thumbsup2

Hello Everyone!!! I have just booked my 3rd DCL and my mom and I are so excited to see all Alaska has to offer. I have not known any one but those in our party before setting sail. I am looking forward to getting to know all of your before we set sail. I have always wondered what everyone has on their doors but never knew about Fish Extenders. I think it sounds like a blast and look forward to participating this time around. Where do I sign up? ♥️

I am going to be traveling with my great niece and nephew. They will be 11 and 7 and are very excited.
I was born and raised in AK, but travel in Southeast AK has been limited and a long time ago. The kids are third generation born in AK.
This will be my second cruise, first was MR with college friend and her son on the Wonder.

Hey everyone! I'll be posting the FE list this week and will be posting updates periodically. For those of you who have not messaged me or posted on here that you would like to join, let me know and I'll add you to the list. :cool1:

Just wanted to let everyone know we won't be taking this cruise now. However, the good news is that I had room 6134, which is a 7A hidden verandah, so if you were looking for a good deal, log in and grab it before someone else does! :)

Hey y'all! We'll be on board with you! Our first disney cruise, our first trip to Alaska! We've got kids who will be 11, 7, 2, and 2 at sailing time. Sign me up for Flounder's Reef! I'm so over the moon excited for this trip!!! Just requested a join on the fb group... Yay!!!

I hope I'm posting this right. I'm new to these boards. We just converted our placeholder reservation into the Wonder for next June and we can't wait.

We missed out on doing FE on our Fantasy Caribbean trip in February, so now we want to do it all! So, please include us in the FE.

Here is the link to our FE list thus far. Please double check it and let me know if I need to add or fix anything. Also be sure the children's ages are the correct age at the time of sailing.

Let me know if you can't open this. You don't have to sign up for a Box account if you don't have one. Just click the download button. :goodvibes
